This deck works on the principle that a rustler makes a light pillar the equivalent of two emerald pillars. So, this 30 cards deck can pump out more damage than any 30 card mono life with a decent speed. I won two matches in the trial of life with this deck.

The thing is, the fire shield would kill the rustlers immediately, efficiently denying you of quanta.

I had a fractal emrald dragon deck like that. Replace the cards that aren't dragon/light pillars with aether pillars and fractal.

The quanta generating ability of the rustler could make a dragon fractal some what viable, but dragons in general have a very bad damage to cost ratio, which make them a bad choice for fractal, though with the double quanta boost of rustler, it maybe a passable deck.
