Life/Death duo deck https://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php?topic=5683.msg58152#msg58152
« on: April 23, 2010, 06:02:05 pm »
All elements have an opposite. Here they are if you dont already know them:
 :earth :air
 :fire :water
 :light :darkness
 :entropy :gravity
 :time :aether
 :life :death
I'm going to create a duo deck from each pair. And im going to try to make them use each other. Not just be two 15 card decks put together. The deck has to have 15 cards from one element and 15 from the other.
Here is the  :life :death duo deck:
Hover over cards for details, click for permalink
Deck import code : [Select]
710 710 710 710 710 710 710 713 713 716 716 716 716 716 716 7ac 7ac 7ac 7ac 7ac 7ac 7ac 7ai 7ai 7an 7an 7an 7an 7an 7an 8pn

Im going to get straight out with this. This deck sucks. Life and death have nothing which you can combine together. This was the best I could do. The idea is that the skeletons are very small and cheap but with adrenaline they do eight damage. You may be thinking "wow! this is good! 8|2 creatures on the first turn?!" Don't be fooled. This sucks. Any shield that protects 2 damage can make you completely useless (except for the recluses). Fire shields mean auto quit. This deck can go through AI 3s quite quickly but there are much quicker decks especially considering you have to auto quit one or two of them.
Please post ideas and suggestions below.
Thanks for reading and look out for my next deck which will be   :time :aether     :)

 :earth :air
 :fire :water
 :light :darkness
 :entropy :gravity
 :time :aether
 :life :death
Sadly
Gravity pulls things down, air allows flying. Clearly anti gravity
Earth is where we are, aether resides by another plane of stars

So it would be

 :gravity :air
 :life :death
 :darkness :light
 :water :fire
 :earth :aether
 :entropy :time

Time can be interpret as the fourth dimension, a fixed chain of event
Entropy however causes choas to this chain

If you must interpret it...

:life :death is hard to make work, but it can be done.

THE DECK:
Adrenaline, as many as possible.  Life nymphs if you've got theme.  These are your creature killers (huh?!)
Thorn carapace, enough to make sure you get on in your opening hand.  Usually four.  This is what makes adrenaline kill (OH!)
Graveyards
Condors
The works.

This is a counter adrenaline deck, and it's prone to bad draws, but it's the best  :life :death deck out there.

you could make adrenaline cells with alfatoxin, then combine with mass healing with bonds... and add a few drags so you arent stopped by -1damage shields.

Forgot about that combo.  It also works, but you need a lot of quanta to pull it off, and quite a few cards.

Would this work with 15/15? Or do you need more of one element? If it's 15/15 i'll look into changing it.

Does it say they are opposites? No, it doesn't. It's everyone's opinions how they feel the opposites should be expressed.

Anyways, the Life/Death combo is definitely done best with Aflatoxin+Adrenaline, since you can get massive healing up  and kill anything besides the cells with Thorn Carapace.
I ask nothing of humanity but fairness in all things, but I do not expect even that.
