It would work for AI3, but it wouldn't be that fast. Replace one or two Life Pillars with Death Pillars, and make sure you're using the Mark of Death. The only Life spells you're using are the Empathic Bonds, so there's no need for too many Life Pillars. If you wish to compete in PvP with this deck, you'll need a LOT of luck, or you'll be slaughtered before you have a chance to set up, as the amount of time it takes is rather slow.

Second of all, you almost have to have a short sword.
