good deck
Man, I'm no mod, but I really think you should stop spamming posts like "good deck" or "I like it"...
You gotta get to 30 posts somehow right?  ;D Anyhow concerning this deck i am "absofrickinlutely" horrible with it. For some reason i must be doing something wrong with certain decks. Can't play PuppyChows original deck for a half decent percentage and 7-5 vs T50 with this deck. Guess i just need to practice more or something...

Most of the strongest decks are powerful because you have many options as to how and when to play your cards. This same quality is what makes them tricky to play.

My advice to anyone who has tried this deck and had a hard time playing it is to play a hand full of matches where you push the deck to one extreme. For example, play 5 matches where you play every card as quickly as you can lay it down, don't destroy any creatures, and use all your lances on your opponent directly. Then play 5 matches where you lay down as few cards as possible, run heavy creature control with your fire lances, and build up a very large spike.

Exercises like this will help you to naturally and intuitively play the deck. Once you've seen how decks react to the extremes, you can feel out where on the "aggression slider" you want to be vs the different types of decks you run into in the t50.

Care to back that up with some statistics? ;)

Anyways, speed poison has lost some of its lustre in Top 50 Farming, as there are so many Shards of Gratitude floating around (either in the standard Rainbows or in rare farms) that it's hard to deal enough damage before the opposition can get set up in time. Cremation-based rush decks can often get enough quanta to summon a horde of creatures and pump them up before the Rainbow decks can go into 'control mode' -- this is something that speed poison can guarantee when there are early game Shards of Gratitude to negate a decent portion of the poison.

i meant if this deck faced speed poison 1 on 1. anyways, the easiest way to counter a sog type deck is to simply use a fire bolt deck with some shards.

This deck utterly destroys speed poison, every variation. I'd be happy to prove it to you.

I like your advice on tactics, (post-cremate lances and such) pretty much my gameplay :D  Intimidating deck, too.  Awesome.
So, tell me my friend, what can you see? What comes into your mind as you breathe?

i have no clue how it could. i played speed poison in top 50 and the poison easily out races the damage you can put up and they can just congeal any dragons.

Farenheits and eaters wear poison down, and almost keep up with it, though you start to fall behind when they get near 20 counters, which is usually right before you die anyways. Fortunately, you lay all your dragons a turn or two before that and finish him off, the congeals sit in the hand the whole game unless they use them on eaters. If poison *does* use them on eaters, you bring your dragons out early, depending on how many you have vs how many cards remain in poisons hand. This deck works primarily because you can adjust your play style while most other speed style decks just push cards out, like poison or life.

If i see you in chat, we can play a match or two, i'll back up my claims =)
