So I noticed that upped Crusaders are ripe for Adrenaling for 12 damage, and then when they Endow a Staff, they become 7-atk, which isn't perfect -- 8'd be better -- it's still 3 attacks and 15 damage which also nets you 15 healing.  So Crusaders are great Life fodder both Endowed and unEndowed. 

Add a few Scorpions for early Poisoning just in case they pop out some shields later on in the game, and you're doing pretty solid against most anything except SoGs, Fire Shield, and Thorn Shield.

I like this redo.  The extra damage is awesome, and I might be leaf dragon's second biggest fan.  But I'm hesitant about the leaf dragons, simply because you can't luciferine them.  Speaking of which, what does luciferine do to crusaders?

seems to work quite fine, except vs spine carapace or fire buckler (in which cases, do NOT play adrenaline).
