DeathShrimp, if you're facing an opponent with "shit loads of creatures", you're not playing Flooding correctly. :p
If something happens and you think it deserves my attention, feel free to PM me. Other than that, I'm probably here if you want to shoot the breeze.

i always threw it when opponent had almost full midline. but still they can manage to get an attack if they throw a creature in the flood.

and the feeling i got on the cons of this deck is that u almost need to upgrade ur squids to be able to fight with the quantum. if opponent got more than 5 vicious creatures

This epic fails against water-based AI5's O.o
Okay, I lied, it actually pwns them. When you see them start playing water creatures, just save up your quanta (unless they drop a dragon, then freeze it!), get your shield up, then SPAM DRAGONS. they have no response, and generally they take forever to kill you, even without you having any healing, so a dragon rush is pwnage.

In my experience playing this deck, all those octopi doing the freezing, combined with flooding, makes your quanta generation is somewhat limited. I wonder if crawlers would work better, since I never get more than a handful of dragons out anyway, so with crawlers I could probably fill my board, and overall do more damage (plus, with more creatures, having them disabled wouldn't hurt as much)

Of course, they would have to be upgraded, but I'm just wondering out loud here.

You don't need 3 floodings. It's only worth playing if the opponent plays more than 3 creatures outside of the central 7. Why? Because flooding absorbs 3 :water a turn, and if there are three creatures, you can freeze them all for 9 :water every 3 turns - same cost.

Why not change the mark to air and run shockwaves? You could insta-kill any problem creatures. Could work. I think you need more quanta to make this work. It's really hard to accumulate the quanta for dragons with the 3 :water drain every turn in addition to all the freezing, and even then you often leave your opponent with a creature or two, so you have to get those dragons out FAST, which just isn't possible with such high quanta drainage and only 13 pillars.

Sorry to be so nitpicky, but do you mean "Icebergs"?

and to be something other then annoying, do you think this or a pure water stall deck works better?
Strike that, reverse it.

So far, the only thing this deck consistently does is lose. The lack of  :water quanta makes this deck too slow to be functional. I changed the mark to  :water which helped slightly, but the enemy always (yes, always) got the upper hand. Flooding has yet to become useful as all the HB's I've faced with this have only ever played 7 or less creatures, most of which were immortal/heavy hitters/have abilities to ruin my pathetic little Octo's before they have any sort of chance to gain a foothold. The ice dragons must be some sort of pathetic joke as they cost 10 and only do 9. On the off chance that you have enough  :water quanta saved up to play more than 2 of them, you could potentially win if you aren't already close to dead by then. I guess I'm just being critical, seeing as how this is an unupped deck. I was just anxious to try it out, seeing has how it was supposed to consistently win.

I realized, upon coming back to post this image, that I didn't set my mark to  :aether But... It's still pretty nuts what happened here.  Look how many Bone Walls he's got left!

Killabandaid, if you're not having any luck with Flooding, I'd suggest swapping 1 Flooding and 1 Fractal for 2 Quintessences.  Quint an octo, and you'll be sitting much prettier.
