What the heck it's named after?the Embodiment of Scarlet
Devil, the sixth cardinal Touhou game.
(Protip: If you're pissed off with my bizarre deck names, why don't ya design an effective, efficient, and fun deck, then give the deck you designed even more bizarre name just to piss me off?
)
What the heck is its agenda?- Get Nymph Queen (NQ).
- Have the NQ summon more NQ and Grey Nymph (GN).
- Have the GN afla enemy units.
- Have the shield block resulting Malignant Cells.
- ?
- Profit~
How to use this deck? This deck is comprised of two parts, the 'rushy' part (since it feels more a domination deck than a rush deck ^^;) and the afla part.
For the 'rushy' part, get a bottle of Nymph's Tears, cast it on a Water Pillar to get a NQ, then start using her to summon more lackeys. Keep a few pillars and pends in the field (I usually keep 2 pillar and 2 pends) to fuel, primarily, the NQ's ability.
For the afla part, you'll need a GN and, ideally, a shield ready. Have the GN poison the enemy unit with her ability (which, for all purposes, have the same effects as the alchemy spell Aflatoxin). Then, once it turns to a Malignant Cell, shield it (so that it can safely multiply) or poison it again if you don't have the shield (so that it won't overwhelm you).
What should I watch out for?Due to the nymphs' thick HP, most damaging CC don't do much against the NQ's 5/6 frame (nevermind GN's 7/8). However, that also means that Gravity Shields are going to be a problem. Consider afla-ing your own units to get around the shield.
Watch out for Emphatic Bonds, too. Careless usage of aflatoxin is going to benefit your enemy more than you with a few of them on their field.
Reverse Time can be problematic since all your units costs 8
to summon normally.
Otherwise, it'd be most of the list of watchout-if-you-rush suspects: Antimatter (fell free to afla the victim in question), Purple Nymph (feel free to afla the nymph in question), opposing rush/growing units (afla them too), et cetera.
I think this deck can use a bit more modifications!Feel free to tweak the deck a bit (tweak it too much, and you'll need to follow its agenda rather than this deck's). Possible modifications to the deck may include, but not limited to~
- swapping a few pends with pillars
- swapping Ice Shields with Skull Shields
- a Plague/Dry Spell or two (A word of caution: Dry Spell affects your side of the field too)
