Steamrollering your opponent literally with ever-growing steam machines? Listening to the dragon roars of your war machines as a goddess creates a replica of herself (binary fission!) from a water fountain? Watching an octopus secrete cryogens from its suckers that seals living matter into ice cubes? All of these happening without paying a single :rainbow? If that's not hardcore, nothing is.

Shields and flayers are gonna wreck this thing hard. You can add CC if you wish. But PC - oh well, that's pretty good for a :water/ :time duo...

PVE shouldn't be all about copying a deck code and converting time into electrum, score, and potentially rares.
If the only way to derive fun from a game is its PVP content, then non-hardcore players a.k.a. the mass are alienated from the hardcore community.
