:gravitybigCollection of Blacksmith's favorite duo's:firebig

Throughout my days I've stumbled over many good duos. At first I wanted to make a compilation of them but since I like the decks so much I think each one of them deserves their own thread.

History

Just recently I got my third red nymph that made me remember an old plat grinder from the time when sofo was color less. I've pulled this together to see how it was today and I must say that sofo is still op. Even if the games are quite long you often win superior when you get it going.

Game areas and statics

Pvp: It's evil, it's good, and not so fun not face.
Ai4: It has a good win rate vs ai4 like 60% problem is the extra card draw.
Bronze: Yes would do this easily.
Silver: Around 60% win rate I guess
Gold: Can't be much more than 30%
Average ttw vs ai3: ≈ 14 It's slow since it's very denial before damage builds up

If anyone like to I'd be very happy to have some more exact testing with this deck^

Game play

When shard wore color less you could get a sofo first turn almost any game in this deck you get a sofo second turn 80% of the times and first turn 10% of the times. When you got a sofo destroy things as fast as possible.( best target is often pillar/pends ) Play fire eater when possible and gp when needed.

Tactics and combos

The combos are pretty simple:

  • Play gp on sofo when needed.
  • Use rage pot on opponents stuff when needed and on sofo when you can. A pro tip can be not to play rage pot on opponents stuff when you got a gp on a sofo, sometimes it can be good it taking damage so you can use ability more often.

Card by card usages and alternate versions

  • Sofo: It's evil, very evil, use it as damage defence and shield in this deck. I don't really think I need to say more about it.
  • Red nymph: I only play 3( I also only got 3 ) since it has fairly strong def and when you play it rarely dies. Les then 3 could make the deck a bit unstable and lower the ttw pretty much.
  • Fire eater: You very rarely see this fellow being played. It's not a bad card actually it's just out concurred by other cards.( personally I think the upped one should do 3 damage )Anyhow I think the card is better than a normal pillar in this deck since there are another better targets for CC in this deck and it needs all damage it can get.
  • Gravity pends: I know that the deck is a little bit over quantaed and thats because you really want a second turn sofo. This also means that a version with gravity mark and fire pends would do much worse.
  • Gravity pull: Works so very good with sofo but you can also use it as CC on your opponents creatures. It's the only CC card than can destroy a flying titan. I only play 3 in this deck but I think adding 1 for a pend would be ok too.

Optional cards
  • Amber nymph: When facing rainbows and some other decks amber nymph can be very helpful for both em and complete lockdown. I use to play those decks with -1 gravity pend and +1 amber nymph. In my opinion it's just as good or even better with it.

Upgrade priority

  • Gravity pends: Since you want sofo as fast as possible, with un upped ones you will get it turn 4 instead of turn 3
  • Sofo: Since it's cheaper
  • Fire eater:Actually it's useless un upped in this deck, if you don't have it play fire pillar/pends instead.
  • Red nymph:I actually prefer red nymphs in this deck, stronger rage potion is very good, however I don't I won't upped my red nymphs until I have 6+ of them.
  • Gravity pull:Doesn't really matter but it's cool to have deck fully upped

Dictionary
rage pot= can both be rage pot or red nymphs ability.
ttw=turn to win
CC=Card control

At last I would like to say thank you t acasibi. I've thought about making these threads for a logn time but I knew it would take time therefore I never did. However your words in chat the other day motivated me to do this. Also thank you to Afdarenty for checking for errors.
