So, it's been a while since I've played Elements. I've returned to it to find some very nice new cards... and being something of an Egyptian mythology nut I was delighted to find the Pharoah. A great looking card that could summon scarabs? Excellent! I've always loved scarabs, and my first deck was a scarab/parallel universe deck, though sadly the parallel universe on scarabs doesn't seem to produce stupidly huge scarabs anymore.
However... he's expensive! By the time I could reliably gather 8 time quanta, I might be by far on the back foot. Then I noticed the Mummy. This, I thought, could be a solution.
With that:

The concept: fill your side of the board with scarabs! Eat anything that comes near you! It's simple... but I'm having troubles getting it to work. Anything with lobotomy can stop me in my tracks. Scarabs are particularly vulnerable and not very useful until you get 4/5.
Any thoughts?
EDIT: so, I've tried tweaking it a bit more and have concluded that, bar maybe switching pillars around a bit, it isn't going to get much better than this. I added a boneyard, though, on the basis that I had plenty of spare death quanta and was eating stuff a lot
Also tried the unupgraded version, which is still pretty good, and can kill AI3s quite reliably (or lose by the skin of its teeth a lot)
