2 SoG 1 SoI - statistically the most common first hand draw. 8 attack adren creature with growth. Ignore the ability, this hits 17 per turn.

Basically any other combination that has 2+ SoG will hit 15+ and you shouldn't worry about when to play, basically if you have 2+ SoG and a SoI, play the SoI.

After you have played your first golem, you'll want to just play SoG's normally and ignore your SoI (do NOT use them, cos mitosis golem works weird and will mitosis into whatever the last golem you made, which will be weak.)

If you have lots of mitosis and life quanta early game you can mitosis a gnome, it will result in quite significant earth quanta for more golems later.

Keep making lots and lots of golems by triggering the mitosis, if you have lots of earth quanta and don't need the abilities, you can mitosis a 2nd golem, if you have not so much quanta it's often best to just mitosis a gnome first.

This is a very fun deck to play, and is definitely one of those decks that makes you wish your enemy had 1000 lifepoints instead so you could make a bigger army :D

Spoiler for Extremely rare 6 SoG 1 SoI :

seems like a lot of fun to play with.

I haven't testing the quanta firsthand, but I think the deck could benefit from -1or2 gemfinders for +1or2 mitosis. this is because the gemfinders aren't as crucial as your combo and mitosis on just 1 gemfinder (with spare mitosis cards in case of cc) will do what you need for extra quanta. going along with this change, maybe a few pends can be changed to pillars, as it seems the life quanta is fast but nothing to spam it later: where you have plenty things to use earth quanta.

it is nice seeing some unusual (in a good way) SoI decks, I may just have to make one now.

I really like it :)

It's similar to what I made some time ago (notice that in the second one, SoG has become unplayable).

Not sure if you already knew but at the time I made those decks I didnt:

The interesting thing with Mitosis and Shard Golem is that the daughter creature would be always the last Shard Golem played. So, you can play a small Shard Golem early in the game, cast Mitosis upon it, then play a massive Shard Golem and the small one is going to produce massive Golems for 8 :earth. :P

Btw, since you seem to have enough :earth and :life, maybe consider a diamond shield or the upped thorn carpace (so gemfinders won't die if shield is stolen). Golems have so much HP, even if carpace gets stolen they shouldn't suffer a lot. Otherwise, a PA could either protect the shield or your SoG's.

Umm, while that is true, golems always cost 8 quanta to mitosis regardless of size, so it makes more sense to make your big golem ASAP.

This deck could totally use shields and protect artifact, and hell, maybe even some granite skins. I dunno how to put them in without massively slowing the deck down, though.

Hm... remove one pendulum and add two shields and one PA. 32 Cards shouldn't slow you down too much, and even if so, the shield should often be able to make up for it with the damage reduce.

Your OP screenshot shows a 4 :earth :mitosis Golem...  Was this an anomaly or is your statement about always being 8 quanta inaccurate?

The screenshot has mitosis as a natural ability because of the uncommonly large number of SoG used, not from playing Mitosis on it. Mitosis, if granted using the card Mitosis, always costs 8 :earth.

Yeah as CuCn said, that's the ability when you have 6 SoG (probably happens 1/500 games lol.)

Otherwise, mitosis costs 8 quanta regardless of size.
