Fractal Guard Rush (Mostly unupped) [AI3][Silver] https://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php?topic=62702.msg1241456#msg1241456

I was trying to think of an original fractal deck, and came up with this speedy :gravity :aether duo. It's a fairly simple strategy, and works the same when fully upgraded.
Use both momentum and overdrive on the same guard for best results (or even the armagio), and make sure your hand is almost empty when you use fractal.
This deck has unusual strengths and weaknesses.
Strengths: resistant to almost all creature control, including RoF. There are enough pillars that some can be stolen or destroyed without completely stuffing you up.
Weaknesses: Gravity shield, poisondials, increased HP opponents, and most faster rush decks.

60% win rate in silver, half of those EM.

Possible changes:
+ Graviton Guard + black hole - Aether Pillar - momentum,
+ Grav Nymph/SoF for more control,
+ tower shield,
maybe swap pillars for pendulums.

I am open to ideas/improvements.

Drop overdrive, it doesn't make sense in a fractal deck, same for armagio, if used against ai3 a shield is useless because the damage output is really low, if u want to try the deck in bronze, go with dim shields

One thunderbolt doesn't give u creature control, u need at least 2 copies... or no copies at all

Add one or two more fractal, against ai3 i will play 5 copies for high draw chance, momentum is a nice option but u can always fractal elite charger, which is a lot better if u really want shield bypassing

The quanta split in a fractal deck is one  of the most controversial things in this forum, because the real answer doesn't exist; the only sure thing is aether mark

I agree with what Manuel said above, and I'd like to add that one copy of a weapon will usually be pretty ineffective, as now you're incredible vulnerable to permanent control. I'm not very experienced with deckbuilding, so I don't know the most efficient quanta split, but you definitely do need an aether mark with gravity pendulums. Three creatures with only three fractals is a very unreliable damage source. You're going to want six of whatever creature you're fractalling, and for gravity I'd recommend Sapphire Chargers since they're not too expensive and they can penetrate shields, while doing some decent damage when grouped together.

one copy of a weapon such as gavel is what you want. if they have PC, fine, it gets destroyed. If they don't have PC you get cheap damage and no dead cards. If you pack more than one weapon and draw them both, one is a dead card.
However, in this deck, you'll probably want more combo cards or quanta than a weapon anyway.
Some weapons you would want more of if they have a purpose in your deck such as discord, eternity, owl's eye etc, but weapons purely for damage, one is fine.

This is also, unless you get a perfect draw, not as fast as other rushes, and is easilly walled. you therefore need some defence, and some way of getting through an opponent's defense. Enter Dims and Chargers. Also made 31 cards for Dims deckout win condition.

This is speedbuilt, probably could be different quanta split but should serve you well.
An alternative is using silence and more quanta instead of dims.

All valid points. Thanks for the feedback.
This is not a deck that i personally use, I just built it in case anyone wanted a grav/aether duo deck for some reason.

This modification is a bit too aether heavy, and also removes what little CC capabilities this deck had. I would say put the gavel back in and take out 1 or 2 shields.

Drop overdrive, it doesn't make sense in a fractal deck, same for armagio,

Unless... He replaces Overdrive with Trebutchet. Imagine catapulting an Armagio to your opponent once per turn for the duration of 9 turns (if the opponent survives that long)... :sillyspin:
