Balances out at 8 ttw based on nearly 500 games, I foolishly didn't note my win/loss %
A very effective PVP2 and bronze & silver grinder, can also be used against Gold decks.
Like all fire rushes it wins or looses very quickly.

Shard of Focus is mostly for dim shields, the heart of this deck is the Pheonix + Cremation + Lava Destroyer which can with a bit of luck be played first turn.

Y u no use fahrenheit??  because gavel is cheaper and better, if you're waiting for the damage from fahrenheit to win your match then you are too slow. 
Y u no use fire buckler??  also too slow, for the quanta cost you could have played 4 fire lances which, is much better CC.
Rage potions? Coz fire lances are cheaper.
Dragons? great card but a CC magnet and can't be played from a cremation on the first turn. 
Seraph? Again nice card but I find I never have enough light quanta to keep them alive.

I don't put CC in lava rush because without it ttw can be 6 on average. Guess it sacrifices winrate though, not sure.

You never have to add SoFo. This deck is fine without it. Just a terrible excuse to have reason to abuse a OP card.

Deckbuilders use the best cards they can, there's no excuse needed. This deck is NOT fine without it either. No pc in a rush like this = sucks. Explosion also = sucks (in this case).

Totally agree with you Kimham8.
I dont use SoFo because I'm a power gaming freak, its because its synergies well with immolation/cremation. Explosion takes  quanta away from the golems and well, explosion sucks.

Only reason Explosion sucks now is because of the nerf and the release of Sofo. I still find it a poor excuse because there have been many a successful cremorush deck created before SoFo even cursed the game. Like i said, You may hide behind 'It's good deck building', but when it comes down to it, you're just wasting quanta that you could be using to rush playing that shard.

??? Sofo here costs less than explosion for more than three times the effect (black hole can be used).
If vivimancer puts explosion in this deck he will risk losing to multiple shields, and sadly even mono aether, unless he sacrifices speed by taking out other cards for more explosions.

Also when you say, ''you never need to add SoFo'', it's like saying, ''you never need to add cremation''. He could have used fire pillars instead of cremation but he didn't, because he didn't feel like it. And in the same way, he doens't feel like using explosion.
