Funplay, step ahead of you :P
dont get it, but still nice to know  :P

Firefly Queens generate fireflies with life. Pendulums offer light/air, for each turn. So I basically get loads of fireflies, fromt he queens.
you mean life/air, i assume?

The fireflies ARE the additional punch. The purpose of the deck is having a steady damage source (Firflies are 3|2. queens 3|7), and a nice backup. Hope will basically make any creature ont he other side useless, unless it's a crappy chimera or mutated. Eaven then, the fireflies will be loads.
yeah, already knew that...but as TII mentioned, your biggest attacker has att 3...shields must be a major nuisance to you

I still dont understand the need of light pillars...but well, as long you have fun with that deck, everything is fine :D

I think 4 sykblitz is a bit much...2-3 would be enough for me...but i havent tested the quanta balance of the deck...

If you have an updated version with bonds, you might present that?

It has potential to be good, even a FG grinder, however if you want to be better take out sky pillars, instead add SOR, then put 2 more hope, 2-3 sky blitz, no pends only towers, ect ect ect

As i was wondering, if my comments might have been off, i tested the latest variant (with skyblitz)...and was disappointed.

Could you please explain what you meant by "does exceptionally well against L3s"?

I only played a few games and maybe i had bad luck...but this build was quite slow and had a loss rate of about 50%!

There are son many elders that really pose a serious threat to this deck...

aether, as you have no way of bypassing the dim shields
osiris jr, as the scarabs eat the fireflies, procastination also hurts a lot
pandadoll, the pandemoniums really hurt
firequeen jr., as an enemy hope kills you -> deckout
mono gravity -> otyughs, lets hope for a schockwave...

I have decided to make it half air pillars. Gonna test it in a moment.
GOOD THING! The deck had WAY too much life quanta...and you really need to try to get 2 OEs, to cope much better with enemies creatures...

And you REALLY can remove those light pillars...i really had a couple of games where i played a Hope...but lacked the air quanta to even play a single queen...i also tested an alternative, faster, more stable, more agressive

Code: [Select]
4tb 4tb 5de 5de 5de 5de 5de 5de 5de 5de 5lk 5lk 5oc 5oc 5oc 5oc 5oc 5oc 5oj 5oj 5oj 5oj 5oj 5oj 5on 5on 5on 5on 5op 5op
There are only 2 hopes, cause by the time you can play them (turn 8 or so), the game is already won ;) That build is a bit short on life quanta, so i would need some additional tweaking

@flash fire: I REALLY doubt this! With so little CC and PC...no real chance. Please support your opion with some facts.

I had been playing with an Air/Time deck for a really long time, and it was an interesting deck, but it would lose to the L3s half the time. I had enough money to build the deck you (funplay) recommended above, but made some modifications based on where I was coming from.

Code: [Select]
4tb 4tb 5c6 5cg 5de 5de 5de 5de 5de 5de 5de 5de 5lk 5lk 5oc 5oc 5oc 5oc 5oc 5oc 5oj 5oj 5oj 5oj 5oj 5oj 5ol 5on 5on 5on 5op 5op
To wit, I had an Owl's Eye so I figured I could do away with one of the Shockwaves, and I added an Empathic Bond and a Green Nymph. Over the course of many games, I haven't really been able to utilize the Nymph. Should I get rid of her? Before I had her, I had a few games where I had greens & nothing to do with them. Also, is there a perk to keeping the deck to exactly 30 cards? Greater knowledge of what's coming?

It's done exceptionally well against the Top 50's so far, over 70% win. Haven't beaten a L5 yet, though.

glad me ideas were useful...and im quite surprised, that you do well against T50. I didnt expect the deck to fast enough...fine :)

Concerning the 30 cards youre right: the fewer cards you have in your deck, the higher the chance that you draw whats needed...e.g. you really want to play a firefly queen asap...30 cards mean: 6/30 chance to have one -> 1/5...going up to 36 e.g. would "only" mean 1/6...

Going a bit above 30 is not absolutely awful in most cases (in run some 31-35 card decks)...but you always have to consider if the cards you additionally put in are really worth it.

Lets take a look at your short bows: with 3 weapons you have 3/32 chance to draw a weapon...but only 1/32 the weapon you really like to have...for the number of copies of a card you want to have in your deck this topic might be helpful: http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,20069.0.html

I agree that the shortbows can be removed (maybe keep 1...but better to replace with second OE once you have one ;) )

Green nymph is probably not needed...but i would have to test that myself...if you really have that much excess life quanta i would consider switching a pend vs. a wind pillar...or maybe adding an emerald dragon?
