Somebody mentioned this in the chat room, I couldn't find it posted so I took the liberty of posting it myself. I think it was coinich, [edit]or maybe xdude,[/edit] awesome idea is awesome

I'm thinking -2 Blessing +1 Animate Combo would hurt it, but it was something I thought about

This is not mono. This is a duo deck because it uses cards from two elements.

While I'm thrilled for the callout, I don't ever remember saying anything of the sort.  I've been experimenting with Arsenics and Vampire Daggers, not Longswords.

so it's not quite mono... but you can easily take out the Animates if it really bothers you
changed the title to make it less bothersome

I made a similar deck with Miracles instead of Animates. Pretty simple, effective Light Rush. I think Miracles make it slower but much more potent. I think something like this will end up being better than a Pegasus Rush.

Tried it as well, but it will never be faster or as consistent as Pegasus rush. Funnier, on the other hand..

Was not me! I made one, but didn't discuss it anywhere. It's a pretty sensible deck, I'm sure lots of people thought the same thing.

Definitely six Longswords... if you don't draw one early, you'll be plinking away with weaponless Crusaders for a while.  Not necessary to add more Animates, though.
