use phoenix as normal attacking creature, and when you accumulate enough air, summon all the gas and kill the enemy in the next turn.

goal is to farm AI3, and also this could be useful in non-upp PVP duels, as the opponents won't expect a sudden death by the gas explosion ;D

however I'd like suggestions about fine tuning the pillars and other changes.

replace fog and 2 fire pillars with 3 bonewalls
win.

phoenix and gasses are a pretty bad combo, if you use gas the phoenix will die...
i'd prefer taking dragons (mono air) or maybe some fire dragons. (heavy early damage, easier for gasses to finish opponent that way ;))

unstable gas/phoenix is really a bad combo
and i think a standard mono-fire rush deck may somehow better than this

my initial idea was that you only use the gas when it's a KO so it doesn't matter your phoenix dies. didn't think of dragons as they are expensive and the deck is short of quanta
