Actually, I read the whole "read this before posting" post.  Did you?

This is a good opportunity to assess whether your post really adds value.  However, replying in old posts is explicitly allowed in the Mono-decks, Duo- decks, Trio- and Quartet- decks, and Rainbow decks sections.  Posting your thoughts/deck version/experiences in the outdated thread is much preferred over creating a separate thread.
Furthermore, I explained that I don't like Aether pillars because they don't let you play a turn 2 Devourer, which makes the deck run much, much smoother overall.  Give my version a try, I dare you.
Better thread to have done this in:

The pestal/devtal build certainly isn't new. Anyways, I applaud that you came up with it on your own, but I'd agree that the dimensional shield is useless with only 1- dusk mantle works much better here. Why not try a mix of pendulums and pillars? You can still get the turn one devourer, anyways.
Oh ok, my bad on the location.  I know the archetype isn't new but I'm a noob so it's all new to me. :) I tried the Aether Mark, then a few mixes of pendulums and pillars, and this was the configuration I liked the best.  1-2 Aether pillars wasn't horrible, but seemed a bit worse.  I don't think I'd run the shield in PVP as it doesn't improve your win percentage more than other things you could run there.  It's totally a win-more card, but you can hold it until just the right time to secure EM.  Drain Life does the same thing but doesn't steal games as often.
