Because you feel like a wizard when you play it. With just 5 different types of cards this deck embraces the randomness of entropy to the fullest extent.

I used ball lightning's as opposed to rays of light because it takes a ray of light five turns to do the damage of a ball and this deck is about speed. Also your shards will often gift you with chaos powers, which can be used more effectively on your balls rather than a ray (possibly giving you a quick 8/2-ish creature). Lastly you can use your unused balls to finish off your foe in the last turn. Basically in my opinion they make better improved mutation fodder.
Play mechanics (my basic strategy guide for feeling like a wizard)
1. using 3 entropy quanta to improve mutate something 9 times out of 10 is a better option than using them on a SoSer. this is a rush deck not a fat-bow.
2. if you can use 2 supernovas to create a singularity and use improve mutate on it then do that and save your ball lightning's.
3. don't feel like you have to use your supernova's right away but remember you can only use one a turn without creating a singularity and if you want to use your SoSer effectively you really need at least 3 to 4 supernovas played.
4. if you get into trouble then it might be better to gamble with a SoSer rather than a new mutant. more possibilities and access to every card in the game can often times pull you out of some pretty tight jams.
5. Learn all of the upgraded entropy cards, they're drastically different than their non upped counter parts in comparison to the other elements; knowing what they can do opens up a lot of possibilities with SoSer. Sadly this deck doesn't really work to well without being upgraded, so goes the story of playing entropy.
On a final note: I strictly use this deck to farm low level arena, bronze and silver, because I have plenty of money right now and need rare cards like shards more than anything else. I wouldn't advise using it against false gods or anything higher than silver, you may get lucky but hell your playing entropy for god sakes; you're going to get really lucky with it occasionally. Seriously though its win ratio in bronze is between 95% and 100%, silver maybe 70%; gold it might hit 20% at most I really haven't run the numbers too much because I just like feeling like a wizard.
