idea should be clear:
- mess up the quanta with discord
- cut income with shard of focus
- if your oppent can somehow still manage to play creatures, maxwells will take care of that
- black holes for healing and messing up quanta even more

didn't count stats, but last games were ~80% winrate and about every 3rd win is EM.

also tested it with aboms and otygus, but maxwells are better + you have to use the quanta somehow ^^
right now i can't think of a way to improve it, but maybe someone has an indea

deadly DBH is deadly. I would change the pillars and mark though. Now, you need 3 pends for a turn 1 Discord. If not, you need 3 turns for the first one. Swapping, you have a sure turn 2 Discord.

Uhm, turn 2 discord if 3 pends, swapping the pends and the mark is a bad idea. A turn 3 discord means your opponent will most likely start the damage.

haven't tried it with changed mark and pends yet, but according to math you should be able to play discord in round2 with this (1st round you should have 3 pends)

If you want to win by something other than deckout, removing a SoFo or two (or one SoFo and one maxdemon or something) in favor of a couple of overdrives could give you some extra damage once you've achieved lockdown.

I really like this deck concept, and I used to use a similar deck in CL last season, and it did pretty good.  I've tried one in BL and had a lot less success with it, though.  (I don't think I've won yet with it :p)  To help ensure the turn 2 discord, I think the best thing to do is use some entropy pillars instead of pendulums, but then the problem is you'll be short on gravity quanta, so then you have to cut some of those cards.

This dilemma is why I liked the upped version much better.  The upped pendulums mean that as long as you don't get stuck with 1 pend (in which case you're screwed in almost any deck anyway) you can play a turn 2 discord.  It also allows for using more discords to increase the draw chance (with 4 I found myself not getting one for the first several turns a couple times in BL, which spells instant death) and allows for animate weapon to use on the extra discords that you're bound to draw.  (as well as having the discords deal more damage upped)  I think the only time my upped DBH ever decked out was against poison dials, and that was when SoSa cost 0 quanta, which no longer is true.  (and even that must've been due to cointoss rng or else a >30 card pdials, come to think of it)

The other trick I've seen people do is to use novas to help get the discord out turn 2, as well as power some off-element cards like flying weapon or other goodies.  I've never gotten the quanta balance right on that, so I don't recommend it unless you can find a way I couldn't.

yeah i sometimes deckout. but that only happens if i have a bad start and my opponent managed to kill my maxwells, destroys my discords or uses healing. doesn't happen often, but mostly sucks, since i know i wouldn't have lost in any other way.

2nd weakness is poison. i once lost to a forest scorpion deck. which just managed to play 2 scorpions and 1 adrenalin.

but still overall i think it's a good deck, however i will see if i can make some changes to boost damage. acceleration, catapult or abomiation is what i have in mind right now. i'll let you know. thanks for the advice so far :)

changed 1 shard for a catapult, since:
-gravity pull makes you pretty much immortal, but doesn't solve the low damage output problem.
-acceleration needs more than 1 card, for a good chance. And if you get it late in the game, the damage output is not that great.
-after using a shard twice i have 31hp. that's 24damage with the catapult and it doesn't really matter when i draw that card (as long as it's not the last one)
=> So i simply added a catapult as finisher.

feel free to give it a try and post further ideas on how to improve this.

i was also playing this as a semi upped version in the arena. would say i can get ~70% in bronze atm, but it's not fully upped yet, so this might get even more.
