Strat: the ideal hand is 1  :darkness pillar 2  :darkness pend 2 devourers 1 drain life(or steal) 1 mitosis. Cast Devourer as soon as possible and mitosis it 2 start unleashing Devourers. Protip: Do not mitosis devourers against Sanctuary decks, prefer Vampires. Save steal for cards like Shields and weapons like  Discord or Owls Eye and generaly anything that can kill your Mito creature or  :darkness sources in mirror games. Cast nightfall when you have oppenent locked down if he plays   :fire(for deflag) or when you dont have a devourer to cast against other elements.
Good matchup : Ghostmare , mono :aether:life :light if not sanctuary,  mono :water
Bad matchup : Rush decks, Discord, Stall

Can replace dagger with Vampire Dagger if you have one

EB is really perfect for dev-mitosis. Here's my version...

5bs 5bs 5bs 5bs 5bs 5bs 5bs 5bs 5bs 5bs 5c3 5c3 5c6 5c6 5c6 5c6 5c9 5c9 5c9 5c9 5ul 5um 5um 5um 5um 5um 5um 5up 5up 5uq 8pt

Nightfall and/or the 2nd shield shouldn't be played vs perm control until you have quanta lockdown. With only 1 nightfall, the dragon is there for the end game, so it's good to leave a few slots open to multiply. This deck is a ton of fun, suffers heavily vs red creature control though - rain of fire is pretty decisive if you don't get quanta-lock quick. With no dark pillars, you're relying on a turn 2 dev coming out, so you better hope your opponent doesn't get quanta drain going first, otherwise it's a pretty good deck for EM's in PvP. Just wait for quanta-lock, full healing, and your shield to clean the board, then go to town with nightfall and/or the dragon.

You need 3 dragons. If you don't have them, then maybe you will deckout without making 100 damage to the oponent just because that single dragon comes too late. It also offers CC resistence.

Once you've got yourself a few Shards of Patience, try this:

Hover over cards for details, click for permalink
Deck import code : [Select]
6rv 6rv 6rv 6rv 7ai 7am 7am 7ap 7ap 7ap 7ap 7t6 7t6 7t6 7t6 7t6 7t6 7t9 7tb 7tc 7um 7um 7um 7um 7um 7um 7um 7um 7um 7um 8pn

It's a very fast lock; often by the 4th turn your opponent is out of options.  Once you have the Pest/Mitosis combo out, try to hold an extra Pest in hand, until you've locked down all of your opponent's quanta.  Then, drop a SoP.   Siphon Life and Heal can be used for EM, with SL also good to remove any early problematic creature.

SoP, I'm sure you'll find, was practically made for Pestosis.

You need 3 dragons. If you don't have them, then maybe you will deckout without making 100 damage to the oponent just because that single dragon comes too late. It also offers CC resistence.

1 Dragon is absolutely 100% sufficient. I've never decked out with this. It has some weaknesses, but decking out isn't one of them. The chances of nightfall and the black dragon being the last 2 cards are slim, and the deck works so much more efficiently when you don't have cards clogging up your hand in the early and mid-game. Of course it could happen, but really the only weakness that comes up enough to be worth worrying over is creature control taking out your mitosis-devs before you can get quanta-lock. If you play nightfall or the dragon too early and lose one or both of them, then yes, you just decked yourself, but I wouldn't worry about drawing those 2 cards number 29 and 30. More often than not you'll steal a weapon early, and will have done enough damage that a 2 turn sweep in the end would suffice anyway. The final turn with 1 dragon and nightfall is what... 32 points of damage? The previous turn without the dragon would be 21? So if you were banging away for 5 or so every turn for the last 10-15 turns you should be okay. It's probably fuzzy math on my part, but really... never decked out with this (when it wasn't my fault for playing a card too early that is). I guess an immo deck could cause some headaches with a late-round 7 red quanta, enough to deflag nightfall.

Oddly enough, evil seems to work.  Been testing this completely unupped version against FGs:

Hover over cards for details, click for permalink
Deck import code : [Select]
4tf 4tf 4tf 5c6 5c6 5c9 5c9 5c9 5c9 5um 5um 5um 5um 5um 5um 5up 5up 5us 606 606 606 606 606 606 606 606 606 606 606 606 8pn

and it's working surprisingly well.  Only preliminary tests done, but EM vs Osiris, W vs Akebono, 50% vs Hecate (1EM, 1 loss)...

Does anyone feel like doing some testing?  Tried it in the simulator, but I don't trust the AI's ability to time its play properly with a deck like this.

Careful there, tiger - this deck doesn't make love; it makes sweet, sweet rape.

It's fun, as long as you're playing against the AI; real players can usually savvy what you're up to, and take appropriate counter-measures.
