This is the second deck I am tinkering with. The First deck is a Firefly Queen deck that is pretty sweet but takes a long time to get going.
I built this deck for speed. At first it was a typical run of the mill fire deck with 6 Crimson Dragons, 6 Ash eaters as the only creatures, a whole bunch of burning pillars and a couple of immolates.
Then I started tinkering with the Phoenix. I love the finish because it is pretty resistant to the one thing I hate more than anything removal. Because a phoenix can resurrect itself it is highly resistant to removal, pay 1
next turn and you can attack with him again. Freezing him does not help as well either because with immolate I can sac the phoenix gain 7
and remove the freeze effect so I can attack with him the next turn.
So the idea is to get Dragons and Phoenix onto the field as soon as possible and just beat face. Pretty simple. The deck also adds Photons into the deck as turn 1 sac outlet's for immolate turn it into
I have gotten turn a crimson dragon onto the field turn 1 quite a few times, And got two Crimson Dragons onto the field by turn 2 a couple of times.
The biggest weaknesses I have experienced so far are decks that use devourer and have a way to pump up it's toughness so then they can start devouring my Dragons. But overall vs AI3 I have a 66 and 4 record. (A 1 and 0 pvp record so the next frontier needs me to be able to tackle some PVP).
My plan is to grind AI3 until I can get enough Electrum to upgrade the immolates, the Burning pillars, and the Dragons (not getting the Elite phoenix) and then go tackle the T50. Probably not going to farm half gods with this deck.
