while being frustrated at having every shard at least 4 times but zero SoFre, I ended up thinking about this: How fast can you poison things without playing Scorpions?

Pros: Doesn't necessarily care about heavy shields like Diamond and Phase because Poison/Physalia seep right through them. Rewind doesn't hurt too much.
Cons: Weak-ish to CC that isn't called Otyugh.

Alternative options: +2 Animate Weapon (though then it's no longer a Duo), Arctic Octopus, Permafrost.

Skip toad, add 2 more chryss and sopa if you have. Sopa helps with cc, Shields like Turtle and thorns and gives you otk option. If you dont want to kill by damage, upped chryss still better than Puffer. Cause you wanna drown, how about flooding for fractal Decks? But only for giving it more drowning, i would not Take it, its fast enough.

The 'drowning' part of the deck name was referring to trying and killing enemy decks by lots of poison, fast, actually. Since I just need 1 tower to start applying poison either by Physalia or DP. (Maybe I should replace 1-2 pendulums with more Death Towers though, I do feel like I barely ever pull one early)

I skipped SoPa on purpose. This deck is 1) not designed for an OTK and 2) SoPa makes Puffer Fish useless since they're in to increase the amount of poison applied per turn. Then again, SoPa + Deathstalker might be even faster than just Puffer+Physalia...

As I said, Flooding was never considered, even if it does defeat Fractal spam to an extent. Though I believe that's possible all in the same with enough poison out fast enough.

the first deck has a terrible pend/towers split, the second one has too low quanta

i see other decks made by you with the same fancy use of pillars, never use 3 kind of quanta source (example,  towers,  towers,  mark); in a duo u always want both quanta at the same time

with a split like this u need to draw death pends for  quanta, u only have  by default

I admit I'm not good with quanta balancing (maybe I'm just too lazy to properly calc it but hey, that's why I post here, to get help on the matter).

I'm currently testing a variant of the patient stalkers deck with 3 unupped and 4 upped death pends (reason: too little  ) and it's working well, decently.

If its still applicable (I hope so) I'd like to throw in my 2 cents: 6 unupped physalia to skip over shield cc entirely, still only costs 1 water quanta and that 2 damage really won't make a huge difference.

Trade the Ice Lance for congeal, 4 turns of stasis will be way more useful than 2 maybe 4 damage.

Skull buckler looks pretty at home here. personally I'm not a huge fan of the SoPa Stalker combo because you need at least 1 turn to get the stalker in usable shape, but you wouldn't want to drop the combo with just one stalker because you'd be wasting potential poison markers.

All of the water cards cost 1 quanta so just the mark of water is all you need and the rest of the spaces can be filled with bone towers
