Doesn't SoB work against poison? And the single pendulum probably won't help most of the time.

Right, SoB does work somewhat against poison. Though poison certainly does help.
I would imagine SoB would suck up your fire quanta.

It's ment to be a low quanta rush, ofcourse I could have put in mummy or something but I don't have those upped, SoB's are mainly to get out some good dammage in a short time.
You should see fire quanta to be only something extra, I prefer to loose some  instead of death, but of course in need of explosion you don't use SoB.
