I've played around with an un-upgraded version of this; it could just be my luck, but it got fairly consistently beaten by the Crusader Sniper in AI3.

FGs probably not, Arena maybe, but it depends which league. I haven't tested it.

I tried fully unupped versions of the first version on Bronze Arena... so far, 5 consecutive losses, and one victory (6th match) against doomsStriker's rank 1 deck. You get good draws, but it doesn't matter because you get outrushed/creatures kill your chimera in 1-2 turns.
