My deck for Darkness Trials, Phase 1, Task 1:
Hover over cards for details, click for permalink
Deck import code : [Select]
6tt 6tt 6u1 6u1 6u1 6u7 6u7 7t4 7t8 7t9 7t9 7t9 7ta 7tb 7tc 7td 7td 7tf 7tf 7um 7um 7um 7um 7um 7um 7um 7um 7um 7um 7um 8pj

I prefer balanced decks over focused decks. It's one of the reasons I like Darkness in the first place. This Deck has decent damage, one-time and repeatable CC, good PC, and plentiful healing. TTT best lives up to it's name when facing the many rushes in the Arena, including those obnoxiously prevalent fire rushes. Antimatter turns their best attackers against them, Demons clean the field, steals remove pesky weapons and shields (forcing the AI to waste PC on their own perms), and the vamps and dagger heal you back up to comfortable levels. While this deck can handle all leagues acceptably well, It's geared more towards Platinum.

Hello!
I share your opinions and some of your preferences (adaptable decks over specialized, darkness is the best element out there), but not your optimism.
6 creatures (+2 barely dealing damage and useful mainly for CC) are not enough to overrun gold decks for me.
Also 1 Eclipse for 4 darkness creatures simply seems like it doesn't comes up (and health 3 is really fragile)

Mana balance is good and PC standard - but I still don't feel it solid enough.
At now I'm trying to change it to better suit my game style like this:
Hover over cards for details, click for permalink
Deck import code : [Select]
6tt 6tt 6u1 6u1 6u1 6u9 6u9 6u9 7t4 7t4 7t4 7t4 7t5 7t5 7t5 7t8 7t9 7t9 7t9 7tb 7um 7um 7um 7um 7um 7um 7um 7um 7um 7um 8pj

If I will obtain some results I will post some better version.
Thanks for inspiration tough!
