Particle Storm

Here's a deck I built for Surviving the Elements, Day 7 focusing on the Antimatter card (see episode here: http://youtu.be/Y1icp4-nr_s).

Hover over cards for details, click for permalink
Deck import code : [Select]
4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vg 4vk 4vk 4vk 4vk 4vl 4vl 4vn 4vn 4vn 4vn 4vn 4vn 4vo 4vo 5l9 5l9 5l9 5l9 5l9 5l9 6tt 8pj

One of the strengths of the deck is that photons can be used either for damage, via mutation, or for permanent control, via butterfly effect. Since there's generally lots of quanta, mostly to fuel the antimatter, I've included a dissipation shield to take advantage of that. The upgraded Maxwell's Demon isn't necessary, but can provide some additional creature control. The end result seems reliably effective against Level 3 AI.

The deck is obviously imperfect, with 35 cards and a heavy reliance on photons, which are very vulnerable. It needs improvement, so I'm not just open to suggestions... I'm shamelessly soliciting them. :-)

Upgraded mutations work a lot better for you than unnuped ones. And if you want more mutation fodder, use fallen elves, sparks and photons. Just mutate the sparks as soon as they come out with the fallen elves (you will probably need to change your mark to :life).

are you sure about the quanta? 13 pillars are really few in a 35 cards deck (considering also that Photons could ruin your first hand)

The quanta has generally been enough for me, but I imagine it wouldn't be enough against faster opponents. Because of the antimatter focus, the deck doesn't have to be very fast to do what it's made for against Level 3's.
