Duels - Suggestions and Feedback

If you have any suggestions for the section, etc. you can post them here and I'll see what I can do.

To start things off, I think I need some kind of way to kick-start this into activity, since it seems nobody is really posting challenges.

Anybody have ideas? I was thinking a "Challenge of the Week" or something might help.

Or just more advertising?

What do you think?

What do you mean by "Challenge of the Week?"  Like a Player of the Week thing where you choose one Duel Profile?

I was thinking something like I post a "Featured" ruleset each week for people to throw challenges with.

No idea if it can pull much activity, but it could maybe pique some interest.

I will try to promote Duel after War has ended.
Like i said in my profile, i'm not going to play till it ended. But since i'm not playing in BL, this is the only "routine game" i will play.

EDIT: which also explains things. Right now, Duel is overshadowed by BL.

What about organising small unofficial weekly tournies, much like the official weekly tournies with a few differences:
1) No or Nymph/Mark/Icon awards.
2) Only people who have a Duel account can participate in.

These tournies can have special rules but they will follow official Weekly Tournament rules in general, we can also create brackets or use the Tournament chat room (if it is empty at the moment). What do you think about it?
