Shrink 2 - 1 ji412jo -- Monodeath with 6 off element allowed. No shard. Unupped.
game 1: i used a kind of pandebonium with a very fail draw. i left the game before i could see what he had, his lone arsenic was winning. LOSS
game 2: speedpoison vs a silence/dimshield poisonstall. WON
game 3: Stalkers in the night vs bonewalls + chargers. Was a pretty darn close one, he won by 2 HP and/or 1 bonewall.
Pretty good games :)

Your Mileage will vary.
Both of us came up with a rule!
1. You can only use a card which has an odd number of letters in the name if it's in an even lettered elements, and vice versa.
2. You can only play cards which are at the top or bottom of your hand.

Vs. MitoPuffers
He got a ridiculous hand with 6 quanta sources and I was forced to discard. My lightnings and things all got caught between bone dragons and I couldn't get started.
I was also not exactly prepared to face a gigantic amount of upgrades, so... yeah.

Vs. Water/Momentum rush.
He kindly cut down on his nuber of upgrades this time. This time I got a hand where I could put up lots of quanta early. His only momentum he discarded to free his quanta, so once I got hope and a light nymph out he wasn't able to touch me.
Vs. Blitzing Vamp Daggers.
He couldn't get his combo out without shuffling his hand. I got hope out fairly quickly again, so it was only a matter of time.

When I made had too many ups, modified it right before game. I think that this was the deck code. Might have chargers switched for pilllars though.
He was using an anti-cc stall, titans are basically impervious to cc. Silenced when I got out a charger, and was able to pull out another one next turn for ko, they were never in danger. (extra silence as well)

This was titans as well against his Titans+lightnings. I had a pretty good quanta rate, started with 2 pillars to his 4, but I had first turn, and promptly drew another one, 1st turn titan, played others as well as catapult. He ended up with 4 (maybe 3?) Titans, but the extra damage from catapult was too much.

Decide which element you will be basing your decks off of [and tell other player]
50% of deck must be in element
Two different sets of 3 RNG'd elements will be used to finish the rest of these decks
You do not need to use any or all of your 3 RNG'd elements
Apart from feeling myself being bit at a disadvantage here with my elements, luck didn't help me any either. Should have chosen another element I think. :)

Threw this together quickly since I noticed he didn't use reverse times at all. While I didn't have a very good initial hand - no vamps and adrenalines - I did draw them soon enough. The single ghost he played couldn't compete with two drugged vamps, especially since I kept rewinding it.

I got a decent draw, ended up catapulting a Titan to have 4 heals pushed in my face (3 the turn before I would have won). Didn't draw a nova until 15 cards left, but I ended up with 2 sundials. Chain dropped (no novas), so I took a turn of damage, bringing me down to 10 hp. Flew and gpulled a titan. Next turn drew another titan, pulted the full HP one for the win.
Third game was Ragamagios vs something with chargers + RT.
Don't have deck code, but chargers troll magios. I was actually using the deck to hopefully counter catatitans, or guardtal. Used a couple rage potions on chargers, but he drew 5 in the first half of the game. I was underquanta'd gravy wise, and couldn't catapult. He won pretty easily.
4th game was a poisonstall vs. a DBH.

Not my finest hour choosing a magios and bonewall vs. a gravy deck, but I only lost by about 2 turns He drew a whole bunch of quanta, and I drew hardly any. However, he didn't get out a discord until the turn after I Bonewalled. He did however draw 2/3 chargers very early, which was too much for me to outpace.

Vineroz used a water duo (we didn't get very creative) with purifies, spirits, nymphs, squids and other cards. If he didn't have squids I could have won this one. Me drawing all my pillars after his first squid didn't help my situation either. I should have used some control, in retrospect.

My ban, as it seems, kind of told Vineroz what I was planning to do and he brought an air/darkness stallbreaker. He miscalculated however and missed his opportunity to kill me, so I decked him out eventually. I was terrified the whole game, but I was lucky because he took his steals out, leaving my diamond shield in place. Using wardens against Air was kinda stupid though, should have gone with BBs. Sanctuaries could have helped too against his devourers.

A simple mono aether rush. Vineroz brought a SoR/Pharaoh/Eternity deck. He played an early eternity but keeping my two recluses rewound kept his quanta low, making him unable to play his pharaoh until it was too late. I had a nifty 3 pillar draw, which with my mark, allowed me to play my recluses again and again, dealing 14 damage every round.
Good games!

It seems I didn't made a good quanta balancing and RNG was against me, since I didn't drew a Time Factory in the first 5 turns of the game. I stack with a hand full of Fractals and Pharaohs (useless at that point) and only a single Dim Shield. Both of my Eternities came, but I had neither any time quanta to respond nor a pack of Dim Shields to perform a Dim chain. However, I had the pleasure to rewind a Lava Golem of his with more than 20 atk. Though I lost badly, it was a good game. :D

I was struck by inspiration in the previous game, but I couldn't make what I wanted. I imagined some kind of big fat stally deck with dials, catatitans, fog shields and hourglasses. Then I realized I have the most important stuff in my previous deck already, so I just added two catapults to prevent Eternity from slowing me down. Artha played some kind of a rush, but he had a bad quanta draw. Again, fog + RT combo was too much for his deck.

Rules:
-Any mark
-Any amount of upgrades
-Minimum 30 cards, maximum 60.
-Honor Rule: You can only play the first and the last card in your hand. These can be first and last in any moment.

-Rabbit's Rule: You can't use cards which have more than one word to their names (pillars/pendulums excluded).

Anyway, THE IMPORTANT THING IS THAT MY CAPS RULE HAS ESTABLISHED IN MAO'S GAME FOREVER, HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!

- All pillars/pendulums/mark cards are allowed. No shards.

One of my favorites. I think Artha played a(n illegal) mono life rush. It was close but I won the damage race. My skull shield shut his unupped scorpion down, so he could damage me only with upped adrena-cockatrices and skeletons.

My first loss, with the deck I am proudest of. It was quite underwhelming. Artha used the same mono life deck (now legal) but I had a terribad pillar draw. Still it was kind of close. Interesting challenge and very fun matches, thank you POa.

I had bad draws and lack of quanta. But even with better balancing, this deck wouldn't work against Teffy's :water/ :air duo with plenty of CC.

Shantu 2 - 0 RavingRabbid
Mao-Any mark
-Any amount of upgrades
-Minimum 30 cards, maximum 60.
-Honor Rule: You can only play the first and the last card in your hand. These can be first and last in any moment.
-YOU CAN ONLY TALK IN CAPS DURING THE MATCHES
-When we meet to duel, we will give each other a rule we will BOTH follow. No matter how crazy. No rule contradicting the above. The winner's rule will be added to the rules for the next Mao game.
-If rules get too messy, I'll clear the oldest.
[15:20:20] RavingRabbid [»] Shantu: My rule is: On even turns, you can only play cards that cost even quanta (which makes you able to play pillar on the first turn. 0 cost ftw). This also goes for abilities.
[15:21:32] Shantu [»] RavingRabbid: My rule: Cards that cost 3 or more quanta to play can only be played if you also play a singularity in the same turn.
[15:21:47] RavingRabbid [»] Shantu: This will be fun.
[15:22:06] Shantu [»] RavingRabbid: I can imagine. :P on odd turns you can play anything, right?
[15:22:18] RavingRabbid [»] Shantu: No.
[15:22:25] RavingRabbid [»] Shantu: On odd turns, odd costing cards.

He used the same nice Diss Shield stall with SS and EQs. Totally killed me. This was the game that we had the weird desyncs. But I gave him the win as I don't think I could've won in a redo unless he had a horrible draw.

Upon request by Dragoon, I decided to post the deck I used to pwn him. Btw, the only way he would have won is if I decked out, and considering that he had 10 less cards than me in the second game...
The deck I used both times. I call it Ultimate Stall:

The only reason I used it both times was that I never got to play any dis. shields the first time (leaving Dragoon with the assumption that they were AMs) and I only got to play one Stone Skin the first time. Also, I only played one poison and I never played my Arsenic. This left my deck full of mystery for the second game.

Well I was hoping for luck here, but didn't quite get it. I had a slowish draw, and he outrushed me with a wave of nymphs. He had all kinds of nymphs (entropy, life, water, earth, gravity) and there was little I could do.
Making a working quintet with pendulums only is kind of impossible. When chosing bans I was torn between Trident and Nymph's Tears, but went with Trident. Not sure if I decided right - both cards were dangerous.

Quartets are hard to make, especially with Pendulums only and without Novas and Immolations. Balancing creatures and pendulums requires an advanced math degree. So I avoided all that by making my Pendulums the creatures.

Quintets with Pends only are basically like AI1 decks. So yeah, I went with my Nymph deck again. (I don't think this was the exact deck, but it's really close.)
Thanks for playing Shantu. We'll have to do it again sometime!

Fippe94 3 - 2 Shantu
Changing
- Best of 5.
- No rares and upgrades allowed.
- The challenger chooses a number between 1 and 12. Both of us have to use a number of elements equal to this number in our first game.
- If the challenger wins, this number is lowered by 3.
- If the challenged (me) wins, this number is increased by 2.
- In the next game, we have to use a number of elements equal to the new number.
- If the number goes over 12, restart the counting at 1. If it goes below 1, restart at 12. Imagine it as a wheel.
(A quick example: You initially choose 3, we both start playing with trios. You win, so the next game we have to play with rainbows containing all 12 elements.)
Fippe chose 5.
