That's because the AI treats Malignant Cells as 'enemy creatures'. So it antimatters 'enemy creatures'. By doing that it heals you :). You now can exploit the AI!

did that to me as well, AI wants to put out it's own creatures as well, like physalia and pests, so it uses as much CC as it can on them...
