Do we draft upgrade packs too? is that seperate?

Draft packs are added to the card pool and are drafted at the same time. So, you'll need to decide if it's worth it to give up a good card to get some upgrades.

154 cards + 26 upgrade packs = 180 total draft cards.

(Either it's gonna take about 2 weeks to draft - which I'm fine with - or we'll need to think of a faster way of drafting.)

Anyone able to write a gdoc program?

I count 174 cards.

Adding in your 26 upgrade packs, rounds to a nice even 200 draft cards.

Can someone get post the total number of cards that can be drafted?

Also a suggestion for Upgrade Packs amounts and quantities.

Yeah, I see what www3 did there, I just assumed it was 60 per.

So, as of now, 200. More upgrade packs would be nice. It's at 2.6 per team right now. Thoughts on where it can be increased?

Would like more higher amounts/mid amounts, personally. Seeing as they can only be used once during matches (i know they redistributed). Also, am i right to think that it can also only be used by one person at a time? Like, if my teammate uses it, i cant use it during the round?

An average of like 40 upgrades per team (and match) would be nice (split over at least 3 packs). To speed things up maybe bid on 2 cards/packs per day (after all several bids will fail prolonging things further)? Bidding is done per pm?

What if multiple teams bid on upgrade packs that there is more than one left of? does only the highest bidder win one or the xth highest (where x number of packs of that size in stock) all get one?

No, the whole team can use the packs.

Maybe later in the draft we can switch to 2 cards per day. I definitely don't want to start with it.

If multiple teams bid on the same upgrade packs 2 things can happen:

(1) If there isn't enough and the same rules apply to those of normal cards.

(2) If there is enough then the teams would get the pack for what they bid.

No, the whole team can use the packs.

oh, that changes it a bit. But i would still like a few more packs for top/middle amounts, just not as much as before. Depending on how many upgrades they give, about 5-10 ish more packs would be good

I agree with this. I think bring it to about 3.3 (+/- 0.3) packs per team. If teams really feel they need the extra upgrades advantage they can always sacrifice drafting cards for extra upgrade packs.

I dont think lots of big packs are healthy, as they cause huge swings and early in Auction arent much more expensive (though I guess you have to rush for powerful flexible cards first). Instead I'd like the ability to have some upgrades in most games (tactical decision to blow them all on a few games allowed).

Even with a big card pack, you are allowed to redistribute those ups i believe. Correct me if im wrong, majo?
