What happens if you bid more than you have points for?

Team X has 500 pts and bids:

350 on CardA
150 on CardB
100 on CardC
(600 total)

CardC will need a minimum of 1 bid. Some points will be taken from the CardB bid. If there isn't enough there, then points will be taken from CardA.

Some players will be playing 2 matches per round, and some will play 1. How are we dealing with this?
