The winner pays the amounts from the 1st and 2nd bid and receives the card.
The loser receives the bonus amount from the 1st bid and a full refund of the 2nd bid.

Not sure that works well because they would have added knowledge about what cards just got drafted and basically be having a "free round" all to themselves in-between real/group rounds.

Don't tell them what other cards got drafted? IE, team send like 1 card they would like to draft, and one other if the original card if not possible to draft their original card?

They're not locked. They will still have their normal bidding, the tie is an additional bid.

A bit confused on the Upgrade packs and would like clarification, are they only limited to a specific card?

If I bid on this:
"14 = (7)+(5)+(2)"
Does it mean:
-  7 upped single type of card, 5 upped of a second type of card, and 2 upped of a third type of card all in the same deck.(by card type I mean 7 frogs, 5 scorpions, and 2 rustlers)
or is it
-  7 upped cards in one deck(regardless of what cards become upped), 5 upped cards in a deck(regardless of what cards become upped), and 2 upped cards in a deck(regardless of what cards are upped). All 7, 5, and 2 could be used in three different decks, two different decks or the same deck.



Also curious if more than 2 cards can be bid on at any point in the draft(not counting tie bids)? i.e. starting round 5, or round 10, etc? Didn't see this in the OP, but I know there was discussion on it.
