How To Create Your Customized Dog Image:By Scaredgirl
I made a Pimp My Dog image creator. It's still not ready (images missing), but this first beta version will give a general idea.
1. Download this file (
http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php?action=dlattach;topic=24974.0;attach=2448)
2. Go to
http://pixlr.com/editor/ and open the file you just downloaded
3. Uncheck the first layer (white text on black background) to reveal all the dogs and their accessories
4. Pick your dog (currently 5 options)
5. Pick accessories
6. Add your own images like this:
1. Find a royalty-free picture from the web
2. Copy the URL of the image
3. Inside Pixlr, open a new image from URL
4. Resize the image if needed, select all, copy, and paste in the main Pimp My Dog file
5. Drag the image to when you want it. You can resize it by pressing Ctrl+T7. Once your image is ready, go to
File -> Save, and choose the
imm.io option
8. Save as PNG
9. Go to link given and copy the image URL. Use that URL to add your newly Pimped Dog on the forum post.
That's it.
3. Before sending the PM, check the "Save a copy in my outbox". This will help you find your Dog in your Sent Items (
http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php?action=pm;f=sent) when it's time to post them. Alternatively you can save the code on your computer.
4. We will wait until all players have send their PM's to the organizer, after which the organizer will announce that you can post your Dog. After that announcement, go to the next step.
5. Go to Sent Items (
http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php?action=pm;f=sent) in your inbox and find the Dog you built.
6. Take the code and create a new topic in the Dog Pit main section (
http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/board,395.0.html). The topic title should be the name of your Dog. Your topic should look something like this (
http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,25048.0.html).
Breeding your DogEvery dog has 5 stats: 30 Health (Hp), 1 Strength (Str), 1 Defense (Def), 1 Intelligence (Int) and 1 Luck (Lck)
You will be given 50 Experience Points (Exp) to beef up your dog, increasing HP will cost 1 Exp, any other stat costs 5 Exp.
Health (Hp)This is basically the ammount of moves your dog can use. If it reaches <30 your dog will be crippled and unable to fight anymore.
After you have decided on how to beef up your dog, you can add any cards to the Hp by following these rules:
- No upgraded cards allowed.
- No more than 6 copies of any card.
- You can only chose cards you have in-game.
- Pillars and Pendulums will be added as Quantum Pillars and can be converted to any Pillar/Pendulum at deckbuilding. (you can have more than 6 copies of those)
Strength (Str)This stat will be used in battle. A higher Strength will not only intimidate your opponent, it will also cause higher damage when you win the battle.
- Reduces the number of required wins by 0.75 per Str (can't go lower than 1)
- Damages opponents Hp by 4 per Str (If you win)
- Damages opponents Hp by 2 per Str, but you can't inflict more than half the damage you recieved (If you lose)
Defence (Def)A high defense will allow you to counter opponents Str, so your dog recieves less damage.
- Increase the number of required losses by 1 per Def (can't go higher than 5)
- Reduces damage taken by 1 per Def (If you Win)
- Reduces damage taken by 1 per Def, but no lower than opponents Str (If you Lose)
Intelligence (Int)A higher Intelligence allows your dog to learn new things faster.
- Increases the amount of Exp per won match by 2 per Int
Luck (Lck)Yes, the love of RNG is now buyable! (...NOT!)
- The Dog with the higher Luck wins the coin toss. (Aka. If the one with the lower Luck gets the coin toss in the match, he has to skip his first turn without doing anything)
Dog A vs. Dog B
Dog A has 2 Str, 2 Def, 2 Int and 2 Lck (and 60 Hp)
Dog B has 1 Str, 4 Def, 8 Int and 1 Lck (and 30 Hp)
Dog A has the higher Lck, so that player will always get the first turn! (Dog B has to skip his first turn if he wins the coin toss but nothing happens if Dog A wins the coin toss)
Dog A needs
3 wins to win this matchup
Dog B needs
2 wins to win this matchup
If Dog A wins, he gains
4 Exp, loses
0 Hp and Dog B loses
4 HpIf Dog B wins, he gains
16 Exp, loses
0 Hp and Dog A loses
2 Hp
MatchupThe event organizer will post the matchup in a battle thread.
First matchup will be random. Winners will receive a dummy point, losers gets -1 dummy point. Those players with the same amount of dummy points are matched up for a fight. No player can drop below 0 dummy points
In later fights it is possible to face the same opponent twice or more often in a row, but the organizer will try to prevent this by cheating on RNG a little.
If there is a uneven amount of players, the one with the lowest amount of dummy points gets a bye (if more than one has the same amount, it's randomly chosen between them). The learning is treated normally, though there is no dog to learn cards from. But relics are always available to be learned (you can have more than 6 of those)
DuelsPlayers have 4 days to make the fight happen. They must contact their opponent using a PM, and try to find a time that suits both.
If a fight doesn't happen, there are a few different possibilities:
1: One of the players surrenders, giving his opponent a free 0-0 victory. Damaging and learning will be treated normally.
2: If none surrenders, the one who was clearly more active in finding a time for the match gets the win. The organizer has the last word here. If you are not happy with his choice you may quit the event in a friendly and non disturbing manner.
3: If it wasn't clear who was more active and no one wants to surrender, both players lose the battle and recieve damage according to the formula (no learning).
4: If there is no response from any player for 2 turns, the organizer may remove that player from the event, his opponent gets a bye.
It's a good idea to either record the matches, or take screenshots as proof, in case something weird, like a desync error, happens. Remember, a player who gets caught cheating, will be permanently banned from all Elements community PvP events, so please play fair.
Deck buildingYou are only allowed to use cards of your Dog's Hp to build your deck, the size is free to your choice but obviously can't exceed your Dog's health.
If you have only 1 Nova in your dog's Hp, you may not use 2 Novas in your deck.
If you have only 4 Quantum Pillars in your dog's Hp, you may only use 4 Pillars/Pendulums. You are however allowed to use 1 Time Pillar, 1 Quantum Pillar and 2 Life Pendulums (sum=4).
After BattleWinner should post a new topic in the "Battle Results" section, along with short description of how the match went. Both the winner and the loser are required to post pictures of both their decks.
After the Battle phase, there will be a one day extension period to choose and edit your after battle decision (You are allowed to write the after battle decisions already just after finishing your battle, within the battle phase). This phase is NOT a battle phase. If you failed to battle in the Battle phase, you may ask for a extension but usually both you and your opponent will recieve a loss.
When you win a battle, your dog gained Int*2 Exp. These can be used to beef up your dog by either adding cards to its Hp or increase stats for 5 Exp each.
If you chose to increase its Hp, you have to follow these rules:
- You can't add a card the dog already has 6 times in its Hp.
- You can't add cards you don't have in game.
- If there is no card that is allowed to be added, then you gain relics. (you can have more than 6 relics)
- You may only chose cards your opponents dog had in his Hp.
-> If you fail to do this in time, relics will be added to your vault.
When you lost a battle, your Dog received some damage.
- You need to remove as many cards from the dogs Hp as the damage it recieved.
-> If you fail to do this in time, the same ammount of cards will be removed, starting from the end of your dog's Hp.
Once all your training or discarding is complete, you will post a reply the thread of your dog where you will list the changes you made and your dog's new statistics.
ConvertingAfter the match, your are allowed to give your dog an intense training, resulting in a 5 Hp loss and a increase of any stat of your choice.
(can be done multiple times, but can not be undone)
WINNINGWhenever a Dog's Hp goes below 30 Cards, that Dog's owner is out.
The last player with a Dog wins the event and this icon:
Also, winning this tournament might result in you being targeted by Greenpeace.
Though that is only a rumor I just created and is most likely wrong.
