Carcharoth came so very far, only to be defeated in the end.  Still, a second place finish was nothing to hand his head in shame over and he walked off defeated but filled with pride over his accomplishments.  He fought many more battles and over time rose to the top and to this day fight fans still remember his name with fondness.  A true champion in both victory and defeat.
