Got DG today and a pet rustler! Decided to try Jmizzle's deck (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,13075.msg319056#msg319056) to give my green nymph a little workout.
I believe this is a better built IF you have rustler as your pet. Won with EM easily even after DG used 3 miracles.

It worked! Beat him, got EM, won Animate Weapon.

Used the ROL/Hope deck in OP, semi-upped. Used upgrades I had in my hand as follows: 5 ROL, Elite Deja Vu; plus Miracle and Upped Miracle, plus Light Nymph I happen to have. :P

I misjudged once and he Miracled, but fortunately I had drawn a Miracle and played it too.  The second time I calculated right and ambushed him.

Sweet! Good deck.

Thanks,

I used a partially unupped version of the second deck on this thread to beat Divine Glory today. The best part? Got an EM, and then 3 cards from the roulette! (Morning Glory, Explosion, and Improved Miracle :D)

Feeling great about this, because in addition, this is my 200th post! I'm a Full Member now! :D

I also just got divine glory and rustler as a pet.  I was actually trying to find my adrenastaves deck that I posted awhile back, and found this post instead, and since I had a rustler pet, I tried my own version of it, modified mostly to account for less upgrades:

Even with one RoL in opening hand, that was enough.  Rustler made sure that on turn 2 I put adrenaline on RoL, and from there I had more quanta than I knew what to do with.  Hope made me invincible at about half my hps remaining, and from there it was academic.  It took awhile because I couldn't draw my scorpions until half my deck was gone, but adrenalining scorpions when I did get them made short work of DG, even through several Miracles.  I found out that there is no real need for the staffs/animates, other than maybe to make your deck big enough that you won't run out before winning.  Do NOT try this version of my deck without rustler pet.  If you do get rustler, this deck is probably an automatic win, though, because there are ZERO targets for DG's explosions, and DG has zero creature removal, so your rustler and everything else is safe.  You could win without the heals/staffs, but having them means you'll get an EM.  With this deck I got EM and won an upgraded Morning Glory.

Second deck in the OP works great; I wasted a Druidic Staff when I couldn't Animate in time, and DG used a Miracle which made me get really close to decking out, but managed to EM with just 2 cards left. It's amazing how well it works, even with unupped Staffs...I think I'll try upped ones next time, they have the same cost so should work better.

Actually, no. With adrenaline, unupped Staves heal 20 HP per turn (4 attacks), while upped heal 15 (3 attacks). Plus, upped only deal 1 more damage (with adrenaline), so it's worth the extra healing.

Indeed, Adrenastaves are better at RoL/Hope for gaining EM. Plus, damaging DG with flying weapons and in intervals of 8 is just so ironic. I'm not sure whether mostly unupped Adrenastaves (Animate Weapons upped) is better than entirely upped RoL/Hope, but I think I'll try it next time.

Also, the unupped deck is surprisingly effective, and also rather fun to play. However, I'm thinking that a Luciferin should be replaced by a Nova. The Nova is very important for playing an early Luciferin.

I do not condone fighting Divine Glory with Mono Aether. Still, if you want to try it, go ahead.

I combined RoL/Hope with the EM strategy suggested by Kobi and used this for an extremely simple and easy EM win.

I used the basic unupped RoL/Hope thing from page 2.  I didn't have enough fractals so I added another dragon, a light nymph, and an upped morning glory.  Stupid Divine Glory used miracle four or five times, but as I was doing over 100 damage a turn at the end, even if Divine Glory had used the last miracle or two, I still would have had three or four turns before deckout.  It works nicely, and with the light nymph it is really easy to get an EM.

Was a very fun match aswell. Even though I never managed to get a protected Spine Carapace out, I had enough healing to do the job. Mass adrenalised scorpions did the job :D

This deck was in my own list of decks which ive copied down and modified. It looks like it might have been jmizzles or suxerz deecks which spawned this variation.

Nevertheless, you will out dmg any and all Miracles so once a staff have healed you to full go berserk and just spam nymphs and adrenaline everything. So far ive only used this deck once, bad draw too (only one rol and didnt get a jade dragon LEAF DRAGON until i drew my 9th card) was down to 5 or 8 hp before i got hope up and could stem the tide of Glories.

On the deck itself:
2 nymphs is needed to be reasonable safe to get one early midgame. Recommended is 3 I would guesstimate.
6 Leaf Dragons feels overkill, could probably swap 1 for the third nymph.
