There's already two unupped decks in this thread, both built around Hope. The OP just needs updated.

QuantumT's Deja Vu deck is actually really interesting.  Deja Vu and Luciferin make a neat combo!  Viable in PvP, I wonder?

I built this deck as close as I could:

It's absolute garbage, or at least my version was.  Maybe I just had a bad hand; I don't know.  I had one RoL and one Hope in opening hand, and it took me six turns to get that Hope out, due to drawing a second RoL on turn 4 or 5.  By then I was at 28hp, which is pretty typical for Divine Glory, since it's very fast.  All the sundials I played were blown up and did nothing, as were most of my pillars.  I had Miracle in hand, but due to the extremely low light quanta production, I could not cast it.  (no idea wtf is wrong with the deck image, but mark is aether and there is no 31st card)  The staff deck would have worked MUCH better, but I only have two Animate Weapons upgraded :p

I just got this asshole for the second day in a row, and decided to try the staff deck.  (modified to fit my card pool)
Hover over cards for details, click for permalink

I was kicking major ass until I decked out!  :))  I tried to play around the miracles, but without a full set of staffs/animates and due to the timing of when I drew them, I wasn't able to do so.  If I'd had a slightly larger deck instead of 30 cardsould have probably won.  I'd thought about including Darkness for Minor Vampire and Vampire Stiletto, but decided against it because it made the deck too big.  D'oh...

Again, no idea what happened to the deck image, but mark is obviously life and there is no 31st card.

I'm using partly or even almost completely unupped versions with my alters, with very good results (9-1 i think). (8pend+4pill instead of 8pill+4pend)

I did not have enough upped Animate Weapons or Jade Staffs to make deck #2.

So I made a bastardized version of my own using some of the new cards that I found QUITE enjoyable! It might even be better than the standard deck #2.

With the green deck in the OP's post, you have to carefully math out DG's hp to determine when it's time to strike, or else you blow your chance. With MY green deck, the poison racks up to a level at which DG is forced to spam Miracle every single turn or face defeat, and it's pretty easy to EM when the opponent has no damage.

OTOH, the first couple turns were a little scary before my shield started doing its work, but your healing grows nonlinearly as you get your Flying Adrenaline Staffs, Mitosis, and Feral Bonds going.

I don't know if a deck with more animated staffs would be better, but this is what I had to work with and it worked GREAT!

I like the ideas in the last deck with Protect Artifact and Spine Carapace.  (only other card I can think of that can kill immortal creatures is Fire Shield/Buckler, though I thought I remembered there being a third one)  I think if you added more staffs/animates instead of feral bonds it would do better, assuming you have them.

Either way, the staff life decks work much better than the hope deck did.  My standard false god killer rainbow deck, which wins almost half the time in general, has beaten divine glory twice ever (the worst record of all false gods for me) by getting protected permafrost shield and shards of gratitude out the arse.  A deck based on permafrost + healing or other suitable shields (carapace/fire shield) might have a chance as well.

Comparison against flying Morning Glory: Fire Buckler takes 4 turns to kill, Spine Carapace takes a minimum of 4 assuming you poison on the first two turns - but also has the advantage of reducing damage by 1.  Spine Carapace is superior against higher-health creatures.

The only problem with fire buckler is that it's a fire card. :)

I'd love to hear if anyone else gets a chance to try something like my deck against DG. I think it worked nicely. As for using more staffs, I cannot, but let me know how it goes. I think if you dropped the Bonds you'd have extra PAs sitting around that you don't need, which would allow you to use them more proactively instead of hanging onto them for only your last staff + other perms.
