Pets make a Difference, I calculated I was 2 health too short for killing but had extra adrena in my hand so adrena parasite for the win :).

If you go the AdrenaStaves route, make sure you fly each staff the turn you play it - otherwise he can explode them.

Also, be careful about how much damage you're dealing, keep a close eye on it.  If you land too close to zero on the turn before the kill, he WILL Miracle, and I barely pulled out a win on my last turn when he did that.

Unupped mitoses. Sanctuaries would come after hope in the deck image.

Great minds think alike? I played DG a few days ago and steamrolled with this deck:

Code: [Select]
5cg 7af 7af 7af 7af 7af 7ai 7ai 7ai 7ai 7ao 7ao 7ao 7ao 7ao 7ao 7ap 7ap 7ap 7ap 7jp 7jp 7jp 7jp 7jp 7jp 7k4 7k4 7k4 7k4
I figured poison would be viable, as it would force a Miracle lock in the late game. All I needed to do was survive until I drew a Hope, which wasn't a problem.

great deck idea by jmizzle7 yet again
i was down to 2 hp before i recovered and win (got 2 AW from spin)
thankfully i add a miracle (swap with a scorpion) which gave me the EM
this is one of the occasion where not having a pet is better since you have more slots open
i was down to 3 cards and the poison counter was at 70++ (not overextending on rol spam, with just a single leaf dragon etc) before DG exhausted all of his miracles

I think RoL/Hope or Hopetosis are much better choices for this matchup than Adrenastaves. Adrenastaves is just too prone to getting decked.

So is the only deck listed in the OP. On that note though, I'm off to find an unupped deck to use.

EDIT- I know it seems odd, but I found this deck is actually pretty effective.

Code: [Select]
5l9 5l9 5l9 5l9 5l9 5l9 5la 5la 5la 5la 5la 5la 5lh 5lj 5lj 5lj 5lj 5lj 5lj 5lk 5lk 5lk 5lk 5lk 5rh 5rh 5rh 5rh 5rh 5rh
I went 6-1 with this against DG. Some tips:

-Don't play more than 1 Deja Vu before your first luciferin. You only generate 1 time quanta a turn before you play it, and typically you don't want to have to wait another 2 turns.
-You HAVE to ambush him. Just hold all your damage in hand until you can kill him with a single blow.
