Angels were to survive Drainbolt (if possible), but he brought SoPa Dolls instead. I should have just packed multiple cloaks instead of the weird nightmare/steal/cloak combo. Bad deckbuilding at last minute.

I knew he was gonna bring Drainbolt (or at least he bacon had a higher chance to), so I wanted to see if I could craft something that could counter both of this decks relatively well given the circumstances. Wardens take two lightnings to kill (or a drain with 20+ quanta), so I figure taking them was a bolder move alongside BBs. Still failed though, since I had too little damage and trying to outstall drainbolt never really works with this setup.

Decent start, but took me a while to get my second nova, once I got it I managed to kill him in 2 turns, surviving with only 2 hp.

Only the deck code would indicate I put 6 Lightning in here with Aether pends so that I could zap 1-for-1 on squids by having a couple cards plus opening hand to zap them even with SoP.  RNG says nope. So I figure it won't happen again (g1 first Lightning on 14th card) and repeat the deck thinking Odii feels I have little to counter SoP Squids. Yeah nope, first Lightning comes as top-deck on 3rd turn to zap 3/4 squid #1 but Odii has Squid #2 ready and I have 5 lightning in my deck. Pip-pip 0-2! (The second turn Vaggers weren't even my #1 concern in this one... ...)

Yes, well, if I can get a growing creature in slot 1, and maybe even slot 2, Quint'd and SoW'd with a Reflective down maybe I can win -- and it might not be too bad against Mono-dark?  Nah, no Quint the whole game of 6 turn loss with Odii playing three Gargoyles, a 2nd-turn Vampire, and Vagger + Steal in just 6 turns.
