His Patience on the dolls stopped my EE's from dealing damage to the squids, and his vamp dagger nullified my early staves. a few late Adrens helped me bring him down to ~30-40 hp before he had the OTK.

Very close game, his early dragons and gargoyles really ate away my health before the SoGs came out. On my second last turn I topdecked a SoG, and when he dealt damage he left my with 5hp.

Silence chain is sure a fun affair as long as you're on the "seme" side. ('Seme' is not a typo, it's just that I just have to borrow a term from Japan to make it more ambiguous. )
The last, lone Silence I pulled ended up unneccesary, though (he was at 17 HP w/ Dusk online, I've got 3 Psions and at least 2 Phoenixes when I pulled that last Silence) XP

Decided to start with one of my most flexible decks. Ended up queuing into a really tough match up. I needed a fast start to pressure paper into using dials early, but only had one pillar and one pend in the starting hand. No bolts showed up to slow him down early, but I did have all the SoW I needed, which meant my draw was reasonably quick. Luckily for me paper only draws one nova in half his deck, meaning only one sundial. Won by a turn.

2 pend start for paper wasn't that strong. No pendulums for me, but it didn't hurt too much as I drew no steals either. My early wings blocked 3 Lycanthrope for the majority of the game, giving me enough time to win quite comfortably. This could have been a lot closer if paper drew enough pillars for dragons, or enough steals to pressure me early on.

I love this deck. No OE early on, but I did have enough shockwaves to keep him to only one creature on the board. Eventually played a Nymph, which slowly brought down the one creature he had, and played an EE a couple of turns later. After that I just had too much CC for him to really damage me, especially with bonewall up.

Also, yay for Hunters going 3-0 this round! Good job, guys.
