"Destiny so EZ" https://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php?topic=12301.msg153719#msg153719

i just wanted to share my experience the first time i faced this fickle false god
after a week of humiliating defeat facing other FGs with an almost fully upgraded SG's almost fully unupped timebow and just fresh from my first victory against a false god, Chaos Lord (<3), i faced Destiny for the first time

as with any other FGs, i checked 'Here are the decks...' for the decklist and checked comments/guides/tips on rainbow vs destiny and all of them said the same
destiny is so easy
destiny is a piece of cake
destiny is cakewalk
...you get the point

so then he put down a fate egg on the first turn and another egg on the 2nd turn
both hatches into drag queens so i was dead in a hurry
so easy my ass

All FGs have a "rush factor", meaning if they get the right cards they will destroy you, no matter what deck you have, because of all the other advantages they enjoy.  Since all FGs have this ability, it is ignored when judging a FG's power level.  "Easy" means easy relative to the other gods.

In fact, since Destiny doesn't have any heavy-hitters aside from the chance of Fate Eggs and mutants, the "rush factor" is less than a FG with heavy-hitters already in the deck, like Miracle's Light Dragons.

once, when i was laying destiny with Rol/hope, destiny had hatched 7 out of his 8 fate eggs into nymphs. if it wasn't for my electrocutor i would have been mercilessly killed.

Yeah, the nymph factor with destiny can be annoying....just faced destiny with CCYB, normally your good for a win...1st fate egg: vampire, 3x times buffed...antimattered it...fine :) 2nd fate egg: arctic dragon, 4x timed buffed to 31^^...lucky me, i had my 2nd antimatter ready...3rd fate egg: blue nymph^^ -> destiny has entropy pillars -> purple nymphs appeared, removed my antimatters -> me dead.

Sh*t Happens ;)

Destiny is good at rewinding things and keeping you in an Eternity lockdown, problem is, most, if not all, FG farmers know how to deal with CC.  This includes Rewind, so I don't think Destiny is such a weak god, it's just that most fg farmers simply have to counter Destiny, intended or not, to be a good fg farmer. Same story with Neptune, king of CC. Not to mention Destiny can be quite a nuisance for the voodoo fg farmer :(

I agree...the more im farming FGs, the more obvious it becomes for me, what main factors make a hard FG for my deck:
1. The amount of PC
2. Momentums
Last 3. CC

For me FGs are all about how much they can interrupt your deck build. It is pretty easy for most decks (concerning existing cards) to deal with CC, but quite hard to deal with PC, as most decks HAVE to rely on permanents/shields.

So imho, any god with few/no PC or means to beat shields is easier to beat for most -> therefore destiny for most decks
EZ -> meaning you have a fair chance.

I will probably go for vodoo next, as that deck not that much vulnerable to PC...i think? But thats another topic...
