Almost even worse. Wouldn't I lay down a Dissipation Shield in advance, since I'm clearly running a mono :entropy. That means I just need to hold out for 5 turns, and it's an easy win. If this is played early on, the opponent cannot counter it with any sort of build-up tactic.

I can't think of a way to balance this.
Perception is the source of misunderstanding.

Why, yes. I do have a Mindgate necklace. It's how I ninja everyone.

Winning a game because of a card's effect is cheap.

You didn't actually defeat your opponent.  You used a card that granted you a win and massively shifted the balance of play.

That being said:

If this were to be implemented, I think 7 turns would be a good starting point.
I also think this would be like a doomsday device card with a time bomb like effect.  The benefit of that is that it can be defused with PC.

I agree with 7 turns but in regards to "You didn't actually defeat your opponent" I don't agree.

Other card games have cards like that and while nobody wants elements to play the same as other card games it is important to have variety in fact if this were eventually put in I would want cards that make mill decks feasible.

The reason I mention that is that if you think about it how would not having any more spells cause you to just die most of the time you would not have even lost had you not decked out

I guess, but then the card would have to be cheap or have it's turn counter reduced because it would be too UP. It wouldn't make a whole 25  :entropy card getting defeated by 1  :fire or maybe you LOSING because it got stolen from you. :P You'd have to do a cheap earth splash just to protect it, or use cloak.

That is understandable.  Adding extra cost doesn't make the card balanced, but making it susceptible to destruction does.

Pretty much a killer to all stall decks, so I have no clue how OP it is.
You keep listing this as a counter to stall decks, but have you considered what this would do in a stall deck?

Imagine facing sexington's ragequit packing one of these
