Hey guys, just wondering;
1; what does the * mean on the poll for voting on the crucible?
2; if my card gets submitted kind of late (it did), and a bunch of people have already voted, how does that work exactly? Will it be there for the next round?
I should really post this somewhere on the Crucible forums... ^^;
1. * means that when the polls are reset, the candidate cannot be eliminated. Basically it's sort of a 'newcomer' card idea where compared to the others, it won't be moved to the archive depending on the votes, because it came later than usual.
2. Any candidate with a * next to the name in the votes will ALWAYS be there next round, unless the card idea gets voted up to the next level. Card ideas are only removed from the polls when they have 0 votes, a very low amount of votes compared to the others (especially if there are a lot of cards), and if they're near the top of the list (old ideas).
So if your card idea has a * next to it and it doesn't receive as many votes, it's mostly because a lot of people may have already cast their votes already on previous ideas, so you'll have to wait for it to move up the leveling system, but don't worry, people will see the idea in time. All polls last for about 28 days give or take, so it should be ample time for people to consider your card before it advances.
