I'm not sure if anyone has had this idea (there must be some card ideas out there that use it), but I think it would make the game a lot more interesting.
The idea is that you have a card that costs one element, produces some minor cantrip-like effect (marginally advantageous or situational) and then provides quanta of a different element.
It is essentially the opposite of a traditional cantrip, in that instead of converting quanta to an effect and net 0 card advantage, it converts 1 card to an effect and quanta.
It would provide yet another way to reliably splash a color (other than mark or pendulums). The effect should be thematic to both the elements, perhaps even thematic with the idea of converting one element into another.
Examples:
Spell Toxicity :water :water : Add a poison counter to target creature. Generate :death :death :death
Creature Earth Worm :earth :earth :earth : 0|2 Generate :life :life :life :life
Permanent Moondial :time :time: Creatures cannot use abilities (lasts 1 turn). Generate :darkness :darkness :darkness
What do you think?

I suggested the idea on some small creatures once somewhere in the 'steal my idea' thread, like some random 2/2 that makes an off-element quanta point when played, but other than that I haven't seen the idea. I certainly haven't seen it in regards to spells like that before. I like the idea; I'm always trying to encourage people who come up with good ideas to make multielement decks more viable.
