The types of the shields https://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php?topic=45569.msg1027602#msg1027602

Seeing the shield, currently there are several main types of damage absorption.

First type is <Damage Reduction>.
Second type is <Condition Checking> - Creature can reach you only if ~~.
Third type is <Missing Probability> - XX% chance to evade the attack.
Fourth type is <Counterattack> - Attacks(Kills) creatures instead blocking.

And there are the other effects - Reflects spell damage, generates quanta, etc.

Spoiler for shield by shield:
- None
- None
- First+Fourth
- Second
- First
- Fourth
- First
- Fourth
- First
- First
- None
- First(though it is more important because it is a "creature" shield>
- Third
- Second
- None
- Third
- Ehh.. none

The first type is strong against an army of weak ATK creatures; while being weak against few strong ATK creatures.
The second type is strong against creatures not satisfying the condition; while being weak against creatures satisfying the condition.
The third type is not strong nor weak against any type of creatures. (momentum and psion are out of topic)
The fourth type is strong again an army of weak HP creatures; while being weak against few strong HP creatures.

As we can see, the first and fourth types are so many in there.

And then I realize, except bone wall, there's no type such that - Strong aginst few strong creatures; while being weak against an army of weak creatures.
So I thought about how the shield can be strong against few strong creatures.
And here comes the ideas:

- Creatures more than X attacks can't reach you.
- Ignores first X attacks each turn.
- Ignores one attack each turn. Stackable.
- Can't take more than X damage at a time.
- Can't take more than X damage at a time. Excess damage is returned to the attacking creature.

What idea do you like most? Do you think the idea is good?
And if it is, what theme(mostly, card name and element) they can get?

I can add a fifth type: One that always blocks, but runs out itself.

2. Simple fixes for simple problems.
3. Remember to fill in the holes.

There's only one shield in that type.
However the <timer> type exists as you said, true. I missed it xD

Actaully, I say there's 3 in that category: Dissipation shield, Bone wall, and Dim Shield.
Dissipation shield's existence is based on the quanta stores of the owner.
Bone wall is taken down one shield at a time by creature attacks.
Dim shield lasts only a few turns.

Some idea on shields:

Apathy: the first x played creatures can't reach you ( ignores the first x attack each turn)

Awe: Creatures with more than 7 attack can't reach you

Depending on the creatures, Gravity Shield is a shield that can be strong against a few strong creatures but weak against an army of weak.
But that depends on if you have ruby dragons or golden dragons attacking you :P

I have two ideas 1. shield that reflects all damage to back to your opponent but lasts only for one turn but its an exelent shield.
2.Instead dealing damage the creatures heal u for the half of the damage they do but also lasts for 1 turn(can be upgraded to heal for their full damage)
THIS GAME IS SO AWESOME :P
