If a creature has both an active and a passive skill, (Devourers, Weapons, etc.) must the passive skill description be above the active skill description? For example, could the passive skill description be in the active skill description with a quantifying modifier such as "Never" or "Always"?
I brought this up because I ran out of room for the text of a card when using PlanPlan's Javascript Card Image Maker.

In some cases, the Passive skill can be 'part' of the active skill, as seen on the Scorpions or Pufferfish:

Venom:
Add 1 poison damage to each successful attack. Cause Poisoning if ingested.

But you have to be careful on how you write the passive skill. If the active OR passive skill is already known, then you can shorten the other to just its ability name while providing room to explain the other. For example: take in-game cards Scarab and Devourer.

Scarab:
Swarm: n = number of
scarabs you control at the
end of the turn
 :gravity: Devour

Devourer:
Absorb 1 quantum from your
opponent per turn and
return a :darkness to you
 :earth: Burrow

In both cases, Burrow and Devour are abilities explained/found on other cards (Antlion/Shriekers and Otyugh respectively), so the active ability was shortened to accommodate for the new unique passive skill.

If you're having problems fitting the text onto the card, you can always try switching the words up to have it fit (passive first, then active skill later, or the other way around, or merge both, etc.). Of course, if it's well over 4-5 lines, your ability probably is too complicated. ^^;;
