Sound

Being that sound is primarily a concept in Air, what are our options?
One thought I have, is something to do with decibel.
Let us together build some sound based ideas.

I agree that sound has a place in air, but what do you make of this? The only sound based card in the game is in aether.

I think Silence is aether because aether is the medium which things flow through. Sound moves through the aether, therefore it is aethers domain to stop it.

For decibels perhaps lower decibel causes creatures to "retreat" back to the hand and higher ones cause them to be immobilized.

I was thinking about cacophony as a darkness / air card some time ago.

How about a spell or a creature with a skill called sonar?

I was thinking it gives the ability to attack. an unknown target. even if cloak is in place .

It's incredibly specific and doesn't have much versatility, but I like it as a theme. A bat creature would be perfect for that.

I tried using this theme too. Sound=air is a nice trick that should be done.

The bad thing is that soundwaves can't really do anything that isn't in the game yet.

Other sound concepts are an echo and reverb.

I like it. I'm not sure how that balances, but it's interesting.
