The first obstacle was coming up with the ideas.  The second was creating new marks for them.  The third was finding clever ways to apply them.  Being unable to move them to the Crucible isn't the first obstacle; it's door slammed in your face just as you're about to shake someone's hand.

Well, then allow me to clarify: the Card Curators said wait, and the thread died, and the idea died with it, at least until such time as said Card Curators tell us we can stop waiting.

As type I specified pillar, which is no a legitimate type, as well as other things.

Here are some shortenings of the mechanics.
Cards that use a new pseudoquanta and a new mechanic should keyword the new mechanic to simplify card text.

Mirror: Quanta of your mark
Void: Quanta of their mark
Apogee: Most abundant quanta
Copy: Quanta of opponent's mark
Priori: Last type of quanta

@oldtrees-ididn't fix those inconsistencies, that is why I am so confused, and copy quanta is of the same type and QUANTITY of my opponent's mark.

The wait period is over.

Well almost. In about a week after the curators are done with the monthly update, the crucible will be open to some psuedoquanta ideas. Later the ideas permitted will be expanded.

During this first period cards can use pseudoquanta but they may not have pseudoquanta casting costs.

General Protocols:

• Card ideas are put in the crucible corresponding to their casting cost. (Elements having priority over  )
• Only the first X* cards per pseudoquanta submitted to the curators using a pseudoquanta symbol will be allowed in the polls until one is archived or arrives at the armory.

Phase 1 Protocols:

• Cards that use pseudoquanta but have an elemental casting cost will be permitted in the corresponding element's crucible.
• Cards that use pseudoquanta and have a casting cost of  will be permitted in the Other crucible. (The  symbol will still be prohibited in table or card image)
• Cards that have a pseudoquanta casting cost that is not  will remain delayed.

Phase 2 Protocols:

• Cards that use pseudoquanta but have an elemental casting cost will be permitted in the corresponding element's crucible.
• Cards that use pseudoquanta but do not have an elemental casting cost on either unupped or upped will be permitted in the Other crucible. (The  symbol will still be prohibited in table or card image)

*The value of X has not been decided yet. Please do not flood the crucibles with too many ideas such that some ideas don't get a fair chance.

true, but what may happen is a card that specifically mentions cards that employ psuedoquanta for their effect, and then you will want your card to have a psuedoquanta symbol anyways.

Perhaps for the card ability box.  But for casting costs, having the symbol there is going to be vastly preferable to any other way of marking psuedoquanta.
