Yeah! Thanks for voting for my idea. However, I think it would be better if we made a few things clear first:

1st) Are we going for a permanent-based element which will be the opposite to Psi or not? Depends, since that was the 3rd most wanted option.
2nd) Are we going for the suggested Wood-Metal opposing elements duo or not? I will add t.a poll for tha
3rd) Are we going to create a new permanent-based element now without caring for its opposite or not? Depends on whether we are going with two opposites or one element. See Q2.

That's for now.
About the future-based element, I think Metal or Tech best fit it (the word "future" already belongs to anyway). Any other name suggestions? I'd say 'Future' for now, let's determine if we're using Metal and Wood first.

based on 'Parts'

while the thread itself is design generic, meaning it is a resource for building any card, it does create a starting point for Parts, in a permanent based or component based Elemental setup. The idea being that in addition to straightforward cards, these are combined to create more complex functions during a game. This could be one of the most powerful elements of all, but is limited by combinatorial complexity and somewhat slow speed.

It looks like we are doing wood/metal and a direct opposite to mind. Just as a sidenote : ARTH set up Wood and Metal as direct opposites to each other as opposed to a direct opposite to Mind. Unless we go with an Elemental Trinity, it's going to be have to be Mind vs. Wood, Mind vs. Metal, or Wood vs. Metal. I personally favor the Trinity if we can get it done, but we may have to just go to wood vs. metal for practical reasons of trying to work out 1 element interaction instead of 3 element interactions.

That just screams . From what I've gathered (I've skimmed the pages), we want something physical oriented, with emphasis on strength and futuristics. What I first imagined was along the lines of "science" or "technology", but something like "matter" could also fit into those guidelines.

I like 'Matter'.

About the 'Trinity' thing we seem to be discussing, I think we should just focus on the Element itself, and if it turns out to be a direct opposite to mind, then good for it. If it doesn't, then meh. We can always make a 15th and 16th for the opposites.

Personally, Mechanics is bad because it can be made of existing elements like Earth. We want the new element to have an elemental theme not a theme made of other elements.


I suggest we take the Wood / Metal pair of elements (as per the suggestion) and craft them.

Yes! Wind cannot be broken down into multiple separate things, can be divided in half without changing and is not made from an existing element.
