Ok, I was just hoping there was one to help me along with my card making. What he likes and what he doesn't like. If anyone has Zanz as a friend or if anyone can talk to him and ask him to put a thread of what he likes and what he doesn't like. I will if nobody else does.
Zanz is rarely in the chat and almost never in the forum unless he is busy. Please be patient. You can always PM me if he appears in chat. I figure I can ask 1 question per appearance without triggering too many other pestering questions. Alternatively I can request the council include 1 design question per interview. It is a thread I will be starting soon in the Idea Factory. When it becomes detailed enough I will post a copied thread in design theory.

What would be a good passive ability that could tie in with a creature that could only self-antimatter?

Something sneaky. Just curious, is this somethow inspired by the Black Widow thread?

Perhaps quantum destruction/drain/generation, similar to devourer's, except it triggers on a succesful attack?

Yes.
If we could come up with something with this.
We would need a new word for self-antimatter.

After getting annoyed by a particularly bad  case of RNG, while trying to create a trio, I had the idea (might've been done in some form).

Quantum Pendulum
Target two cards. Quantum Pendulum will alternately generate quanta matching their marks.

It would work in the same way as a pendulum does.
The card you target first would become the base of the card (target a phoenix, becomes and Fire Pendulum like card) and generate that card in the first turn.
The card you target second would become the mark of the card (same as if you mark was there) and generate that quanta on the second turn.

Targeting would be possible on your side, your opponents or in your hand.

This could give more chance to trio and quartet decks (if only vaguely relying on one type of quanta) and also reduce bad cases of RNG.

Note:If the same type of card (twice a water card) is targeted, Quantum Pendulum would turn into a pillar effectively (Water Pillar in this case)
Note:If the target is Other type, Quantum Pendulum will act as a Quantum Tower.

The upgraded version will generate quanta matching the first targeted card, when played.

Is this a possibility?

I know I'm double posting, but I want to separate the ideas.

Two cards, with the same basic idea

 :darkness
5 ATK, -2HP
Yes it's negative HP. It can only be killed if HP is equal to 0. If it is healed more, HP will be +, it loses ability and can be killed as normal.

 :light
5 ATK, 2HP
It can only be killed if EXACTLY it's HP would equal to 0 at the end of the turn. If HP is 2, and you deal 3 damage, it heals back at the end of the turn instead of dying.

Note: not upgrades of each other, just different take on the same basic idea.

Double targeting is not likely to be possible for awhile. Please check out Soul Pillar. It was designed for the same problem.

I would not suggest following these ideas. The game does not have sufficiently fine tuned damage control.

Why self antimattering? I would need a mechanical reason to give mechanical advice.
Think of the possibilities of this! If it's self antimattering every turn, it creates buff synergies, neutralizes strong enemy attacks (if given to the enemy),
Now since it's a pendulum effect, there are even more opportunities:
when it's negative, use luciferine, lobo, or some other ability removing/replacing thing to keep them stuck at healing..
This works against overdrive (somewhat)
It overall slows down losing the game, allowing deckouts or EMs more.
Need i explain more possibilities?
It is the greatest mystery of all...

Yes if we can find a good passive ability to take advantage of such a mechanic, only then we would have a good card.
