I was thinking for a creature with the only effect being it gains +1|0 if it hits and -1|0 if it misses.
(Antimatter protection, Natural sustainable growth, Extra weakness to shields and sundial.)
Gravity does not need another attack gain card so perhaps Earth?

I need critique, and a name to go with this mechanic.
I think it sounds like Entropy, but as shown by Wish not all chance cards need to be in that element.
Perhaps "Reckless Worm", with a 50% | 40% chance to miss? That way it gets the Earth theme.

Critique: The creature would have to start out with low attack, as most shields it will hit but be blocked, therefore eventually overcoming all shields (except for dissipation, fog, and dusk). I would recommend a maximum attack, or some other limitation, for because of the gradual effect, would be used in stalls. Nevermind. GOod stall card. Could be used in conjunction with Forest spirit/fire spirit.
The mechanic could be called War Tactics.
Reasoning: What do strategists do in war? Attack and Defend.
It is the greatest mystery of all...

Well, if it gains attack power as it does more damage, I would go so far to say it's a Darkness creature, and the abiility is called "Bloodthirsty". Of course, I don't see why it can't be Fire, but still...

Darkness makes sense. It gains power from the hp the opponent loses but needs to keep feeding.
So what would be a good name for the Darkness creature? [Vampire is taken]

Bloodsucker and Vampire are 2 separate cards, so can we roll with that naming strategy and add a 3rd kind of blooddrinking creature?

Blorb: Shield (Weapon? Permanent? Creature even? Anything works, I guess.) that has a small chance (10%? 15%?) to turn so many attacking creatures into weak creatures. (Spark was my first idea, but we could make it Photon.)

The mechanic isn't new, see Graveyard and a certain failed rare shield. In fact, it's so good that I wanted to do it in another element. Life, for a parasite, or time, for reverse evolution.

Ideas?

No, that isn't rare, I was thinking of Ash Shield. But that's the sort of thing I'm thinking of. Like a Life card that you play on your opponent's field to (have a chance to) turn all of their creatures in the adjacent slots into the same creature. Would have to be -1|-1 or 1|1 poisoned or some other drawback.

I was pointing out that Zanz changed Skull Shield to have the same purpose as you are describing.
Something to note: It took the hp of the target into account.

Since there is a similar card already in the game you will be suggesting adding a second card. All suggestions for a second card should justify why having a second card at this early point in the game's development would be sufficiently beneficial.

Ok, never mind that. In order to not copy an earlier card, as you are saying, perhaps a creature.  :life, let us say. you play it on the opponent's field, and it has a chance to turn an adjacent creature into another of that creature. The creature might have negative attack or poison or some other effect.
